I got an email from a William Jurena who is saying he's having a hard time getting a job because of this thread. Now this Jurena claims to be a different William Jurena, but I wrote him back saying I don't think the thread needs to be removed that he can explain to the employer it is not him.
Do you guys agree with my course of action?
Now if the real Jurena were to write I think I'd leave up the thread as well unless he wants to write a mea culpa.
there are pics of the cheater that were posted from the races he did. should be easy enough to clear himself.

His outfit in the Chicago photos is key to his method of cheating. He is way, way overdressed compared to the runners around him. The temp. would have to be in the twenties before an experienced marathoner would wear so much. He dresses to look like a spectator so that he can step off the course, perhaps act like he is stretching a calf and then walk a block or two to shave some miles. It would be very easy to do on a crowded Chicago block. Pretty clever.

Also, it seems like marathon officials should immediately scrutinize anyone who missed a split.
Also, shouldn't marathons publicize (or at least circulate a list) whom they've caught cheating (whether cutting courses, or whatever) so those people could be scrutinized more closely when they register for other marathons?
