You mean Tim Nelson? They had a couple other studs too in the past five years. Good program; odd coach but does a good job.
Ok I over hyped them by one place ...I said top ten they came in 11th wow..I was way off..Top 5 maybe a bit more of a stretch but I think if CNUs Reid and Lapointe have the kind of a day I know thats in them, a top 5 finish is certainly a possibility..and by the way they got a heck of a coach in Sarah Lagasse from Williams..

Can confirm. I'm not going to speculate on where CNU finishes this fall, but Sarah is an awesome coach and they're very lucky to have her.

Way too difficult to sift through everything since we have no results to work with yet and its all hearsay in terms of fitness (track times don't really provide much indication either). However, I feel that having Geneseo State at #2 to start is a bit of an over-ranking. While they do return IGC and 4 of the 7 from last year, I just feel that other teams return more/ better individuals and just thought that they would be ranked lower. None of this matters anyways, pre-season rankings are trash.
First big race of the year looks to be tomorrow between Loras and North Central, but NCC as another meet listed tomorrow as well. Does anyone know where their varsity is racing?
Any meet on September 1 is not a "big meet," regardless of who's competing.

If you have looked at the schedule I am sure you noticed the second meet is at Principia who happens to be hosting nationals this year and the official pre-nationals meet is not on their schedule. This would lead one to conclude it is their top guys traveling to Principia. Also no one outside of their top 10-15 ever get to travel.
