Even better! There's almost certainly video evidence available in that case. Care to show us? Of course, it still won't prove the point.

Damn Right Lance. I mean those tea party patriots want to go back to the good old days when women couldn't vote and the darkies knew their place. Those crazy liberals just ruined everything.
to give you some idea of the absurdity that some posters on here think that this is a non-issue, obama himself had this to say today:
"If in fact IRS personnel engaged in the kind of practices that have been reported on, and were intentionally targeting conservative groups, then that's outrageous" and that those responsible for any improper scrutiny of conservative groups' tax status would be held "fully accountable."
anyone who thinks that, if the allegations are in fact true, this is no big deal, has zero credibility. these are criminal acts and people should be going to jail if this really happened. the big question now is how high up it went. the "don't worry, this was just a few low-level rogue IRS employees" explanation isn't holding very much water.

IRS Commissioner Steve Miller knew in 2011. One lie after another.

Steve Miller was not IRS Commissioner in 2011.
He was deputy commissioner in 2011 and says he found out about the issue in May 2012.

And people want Obama impeached why exactly?

Doug Shulman - then the Commissioner - knew as well. Not low-level - and not confined to Cincinnati - this adminstration can't stop lying

You do realize that Southern Democrats and KKK man Robert Byrd, filibustered against the bill in 1964. The GOP overcame the filibuster in the Senate whicj=h cleared the way for the Civil Rights Act. So, stop with the GOP fantasy that they were all about keeping the "negroes" in their place.
no reasonable person is calling for obama to be impeached right now. however, if this came from obama -- and i doubt it did or, if it did, then i doubt he left any evidence of it -- he is a goner. there's definitely enough smoke here to warrant a full investigation and people getting sent off to the big house. nice try with the hyperbole though.

Yes, the Bush Administration can't stop lying, even though it is long gone. Doug Shulman was appointed by Bush. Shulman obviously keep it secret, before leaving the IRS in late 2012, as an attempt to damage a Democratic president.
In the end, this is nothing more than a political attack conceived by a Republican think tank:
encourage tea-party and patriot groups to apply for iffy non-profit tax treatment,
go the not-legally-allowed for most of the groups 501c3 route to hide your donors,
know that most of the groups will fail (part of the plan),
cry like a baby the special tax-treatment is questioned.

If that is the standard for receiving "special scrutiny" and illegal questioning from the IRS, the why does that standard not apply to the very powerful liberal political groups Soros' Moveon.org and Obama's Organizing for America (now known as Organizing for Action)?
know that most of the groups will fail (part of the plan),
cry like a baby the special tax-treatment is questioned.

Excellent use of that clever rhetorical device, the "You do realize..." sentence.
Bravo!
You get extra point for using the enlightening term, "libtards" in your handle!
I am going to have to mark you down a few points, however, for failing to recognize that the Southern Democrats that you refer to were all absorbed into the Republican Party as part of Nixon's winning southern strategy.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Southern_strategyObama is in a lot of trouble, folks. Get used to it. You thought Richard Nixon's WH went down as paranoid and corrupt? You have 3 1/2 more years of scandals coming to light and a really good ass-whipping in 2014. His WH published names of large GOP donors and tried to intimidate them from opposing Dems. "Go after our enemies". The Obama IRS followed his lead.
This is the most corrupt regime in US history: a. Fast and Furious arming of Mexican drug cartels, b. $10B in crony capitalism for big Dem donors in the Green energy space, c. Bengazi (wait until the CIA and Christopher Stevens arming of Syrian al queda rebels from the Bengazi post comes to light) and d. political lies about the terrorist attack (Go back and watch the absolute certainty of Susan Rice on the talk shows that this had to do with the youtube videos); e. IRS intimidating & targetting opponents and demanding donor lists in the swing state of Ohio where Obama spent all of 2012, f. WH Illegal appointments of Dems on NLRBoard g. WH decision to not enforce laws on the books for deporting illegals among other things; Oh and 50% black youth and 40% overall youth unemployment...Great Record for this corrupt administration.
There will be a Special Prosecutor appointed to investigate the Bengazi cover-up and source of IRS Gestapo initiatives.

Got it. Carry on.
An administration that can't abide "profiling" terrorists but has no problem with "profiling" political opposition groups isn't the least bit troubling for you? Really?
Carry on...

No worry - Eric Holder is promising a thorough investigation of the IRS targeting conservative groups. No need for the Congress to get involved. He will get to the bottom of this and punish the evil perpetrators! Or maybe they will be reassigned. But they will conduct thorough review!! Just like the Review Board investigating Benghazi! Oh wait - that Board did not even interview Hillary or Obama. And Whistle blowers were intimidated - oh.

NO, Lancie. You only see your comrades. Nothing more than political game playing by a conservative think tank.
