Based on the previews for next week, it looked like Ben was going to get killed off.

Seriously, let's just kill off any interesting character, yet keep the boring ones like Kate.

Because Kate is hot!!! That's reason enough for me!

Ben is the master of getting out of every situation in which he's supposed to die. I hardly believe that he will knowingly dig his own grave.
I knew Ben's soul would tip the right way.
Where is Sawyer? This season they really have overdone leaving characters out for an overextended period of time. A little update would be nice once in a while.
umm bump for such an awesome show. I'm on season 4 and desmond just got back from the past. Him talking to penny made me cry. goodnight.
bump
just in case this hasn't been said yet...
i think claire is the smoke monster, because she is smokin' hot.
Claire creeps me out. Now Kate, on the other hand, is smokin'.Anyway, I have been enjoying this season, but the episode two days ago was horrible. It felt just like a filler episode. The Sun and Jin reunion made me cringe. On top of that, Frank (one of my favorite characters) uses one of the two lines he has had all season to add to the horrible cheesiness of the whole scene. "Looks like Sun finally got her voice back."

I agree, not the best episode. Did the end mean we can cross Jack off the list of candidates along with Sayid? Who's left?

I figure that the alternate reality will mesh with the one we're familiar with at some point.
Juliet seemed to see the alternate reality before she died. She wasn't hallucinating - she was going back and forth, kind of like what happened to Desmond and Faraday. She saw the alternate timeline with her and Sawyer being together at a coffee shop. At some point we'll see that happen in the alternate timeline I think.
I'm not entirely sure Christian wasn't actually Nemesis (the guy that looked like Locke). His actions seemed to lead to getting Jacob killed, which is what he wanted. We know Nemesis took control of Locke's memories and took his form after Locke's body wound up on the island, which is what happened to Christian too.
I got the first part right. I don't know yet about the second part (I think Juliet might be Jack's ex-wife in the alternate reality).
Bingo on the last part. Boo yah!
This show has turned into such a boring piece of sh!t. The problem is, I have to keep watching because it was so good for 5 seasons. I keep thinking they'll finally find their mojo, but this season has sucked.
There was one good episode with Richard's past. But he's worthless in the present-time. One good episode with Desmond...but then he turned into this kind of brainless robot on a "mission" in both realities. And everyone else is just completely boring as sh!t. What happened to the old Ben? The old Jack? The old Sayid? Hell, even the "bad" Locke is less intimidating than the original Locke. What a pile of sh!t.

Nemesis said he was Christian. I said the same thing.
Where does Charles Widmore fit into the schematics right now? Flocke wants to kill everyone so he can leave. Jack wants to stay b/c he believes it is what is meant to be. What are Widmore's plans.
When is Gilligan going to show up on the island? You know, the last episode would be cool if they did something like "St. Elsewhere," and it turned out the whole thing was in the mind of little 12-year-old Willie Gilligan whose big sister was Mary Ann and they were both living with their Aunt, Ginger.
Because other than that, I lost interest in this hopelessly convoluted show and haven't watched an episode all year.
Also where is Ben, that military type girl sent by Jacob, and whomever else? Oh yea and Richard? I hate when they have characters disappear for episodes at a time. They definitely made too many characters somewhere along the way. It seems like their are so mny characters and story lines that, as a result, the characters don't even have the same personality anymore. Just b/c Ben turned good he all of a sudden has no emotions and is intensely withdrawn?
Wow, that was an amazing episode. Was that a backgammon board that was featured throughout the episode? If you recall, Locke and Walt played backgammon in the pilot episode and made some sort of comment about the pieces being black and white. I'm paraphrasing, but he asked Walt if he would like to know a secret.
Hard to believe they're tying it all together. The answers are coming and so close together at this point but I have no idea what will happen.
I know that game wasn't backgammon (it's played on a different kind of board, unless this was version 1.0). According to lostpedia.wikia.com, the game was "senet", an old Egyptian game that has been found in tombs.

It was great to finally know who "adam" and "eve" really were.
In season 1, there was some allusion to a manuscript found in the luggage. I think Hurley found it and Sawyer was reading it, and then I think Jack through it in the fire.
Anyway, the manuscript was for a book, titled "Bad Twin" by Gary Troup.

Last night after the birth of Jacob and MIB, I just couldn't help but think about Bad Twin.
