Trump down to 33% per Quinnipiac. That carves out just about any even remotely moderate Republican.

quinnipiac had him at 44% in early December.
This might actually be meaningful.
Meaning there might be an actual loss of support of the president as a result of the riot.
Which means that elected Rs might start turning on Trumpism.!!!!
Let's hope the other services confirm this.

That and maybe they also don't like losers. Good to see trump break another record. Read and weep Sally!

Yup, DFF/Jamin.
Do you recall threads started by the mods when he stops posting asking if people her know if he is still okay? And a thread he started about a personal meet up he was having with Wejo and Individual II? He is the protective wing of the powers the be of this site.
Is the fog lifting?
Parler gone, right wing radio reforming itself, twitter/FB/Insta cleaning up...
and even Red State is saying some lies are too lyingy lying even for them.
JFC. It's a new dawn.
Morning in America
But seriously - some elected Rs are going to feel they have to get ahead of this wave of wholesomeness and start cancelling trumpism. Maybe.
Perhaps Mitch's absence is him on the phones putting together a new GOP.

Trump has to be feeling like the worst loser and victim on the planet right now. Basically, all the rich and powerful he envied so deeply have made a ton of money from him (policies, content, etc) and now they destroyed him and left him exposed. Such a weak "man".

Donald J. Trump's term ended on 2021-01-11 19:40:41.
Is that 5:40:41 pm Eastern Time? Or 2:40:41 Green time? Is this a time in the future, and does Pompeo, Trump's current mouthpiece, know something? Also interesting, is that tonight NCAA championship game is scheduled to end before 5:40 pm Eastern ... have to watch the game first before resigning?
Voice of America has been turned into Trump's political mouthpiece.

That’s very strange. I thought maybe some one was spoofing the State Dept site but it seems legit. However there’s no obvious way to get to that page from their homepage.
Random staffer being cheeky, maybe?

What Trump has done for progressives in this country is incredible...under his watch, NASCAR banned the Confederate Battle Flag, racist monuments and symbols have been removed nationwide, state flags have been redesigned, the Washington Redskins and Cleveland Indians have announced mascot changes, more women, more POC, and more homosexuals are involved in politics than ever before, and now corporations are pushing back against this right-wing nonsense.
Actually as a centrist democrat I have been a bit concerned that Trump has strengthened the progressives a little too much. Although I didn't mind him destroying the Republican party.
Fair comment. I am FOR all the things I listed above. I think the only main thing I'm not on board with with most progressives is the free college thing (well, and I think the Green New Deal needs some tweaking). I really don't think most progressives understand how dumb most Americans are and that we already have some really really dumb people attempting and even getting through college. We don't need to open it up for more dummies and even dumber ones to attempt, using taxpayer money to do it, and that's mostly what we will get if we do.

It's great, trump and pompeo can ramble on there all they want. Like I said, it must really suck to be a POS right now.

The times are not consistent. I got 17:40:41. You get 17:48:58.

Egad, Tokyo Rose U.S. style.
For those who don't know, Tokyo Rose was the collective name of a group of female English-speaking radio broadcasters of Japanese propaganda during WWII.

CORRECT! We really need to stop doing that. Teachers in their 50s in my affordable Central Ohio area make $100,000 a year, they will retire by age 57 and get great retirement benefits. Now, $100,000 a year isn't a TON of money, but to the working-class guy who makes $32,000, it's a lot, and it's a slap in the face to say these teachers are underpaid, especially when they get the summer off, every holiday off, a winter break, a spring break, etc.
I looked at the "buckeye institute" database for Columbus City district and there were a few administrators that were making $100k, not class room teachers. Probably it's higher in the wealthier suburbs, but ultimately they're competing for employees so it's hard to believe $100k is the norm.
There are a LOT of wealthy suburbs around Columbus, OH. $100,000 is not the norm -- every one of my kids' high school teachers make $90,000 and on up to $100,000 and above...some who just turned 50 only make $94,000...that is still more than enough for a working class guy making $32,000 to get pissed every time he hears that teachers are grossly underpaid.

I hate the conservatives.
I am in favor of much of what the progressives stand for. I think But some of AOC ideas such as defund the police, erasing college debt and free tuition and I'm a little concerned about what they might do.
I like Biden's medical plan of choice.
Defund the police is a terrible slogan. They do need to allocate resources better and policing should be improved and maybe have better oversight.
College debt should at least be refinanced to 0% with long terms.
I've shown I am in favor of free tuition because high school was made free so long ago and society has changed much since.
Get the public option passed. See how that goes. There were Democrat senators against that 2009.
You need to push far left ideas to pull the conversation to the middle. Progress is really lagging.
The Constitution was progressive.
Every amendment that increased who could vote was progressive.
Social security was way progressive.
The Civil Rights movement was progressive.
Gay marriage is progressive.
You need progressives if you want progress.
