One of the depressing facts is that while Israel has vaccinated 20% of the population and at least another 5% of the nation has had COVID...no sign of a decline in new chases there. Right up a vertical wall.

The rest of the world is at 2% of the population vaccinated or less. Vaccines will take a long time to make a large difference, clearly.

Biden is talking about setting up tents in big cities...let's hope he can get that done.

We all know that every country is going to have to say 'if you are over 65, show up and you will get jabbed, no questions asked.' It's just a matter of waiting until people get angered by slow rollouts because of careful targeting small segments of the population

I believe Israel has vaccinated more than 50% of the 60+ year olds. They are going to get it done and quickly.

It's been a real bad time for anyone who is both a trump supporter and a Republican. Do you think they are getting tired of all the winning? They have had one devastating loss after another.

Now they are forced to say the trump inspired attack on our capital wasn't really so bad. And covid didn't disappear after the election as trump said it would.

We just allowed cavvinations for 65+ today. However, I was trying to help a neighbor get an appointment and the registration website told you that you were ineligible when you put in your age. I haven't tried today, but apparently they didn't even open up the registration process for 65+ today. What a cluster.

At least we're not NY though.

The Times recently did have a good piece on the issues with rollout.

teacher pay varies massively from state to state, city to city, district to district.

It doesn't make much sense to make broad statements about teacher pay nationwide.

I'm okay with companies censoring those inciting violence, but I do think (as wacky as it is) this may be too far if the talent is just talking election fraud. Once they add start calling for action because of the fraud, then they need to be censored.

Are we going to censor flat-earthers because they believe and talk about crazy conspiracies?
