I wouldn't mind seeing a follow up from Aballah. He'd probably be a little humbler after a disappointing nats

INTERVIEW PLATTSBURGH!!!! Anyone think they could be the most improved team in NCAA history over the course of 1 year? Just a thought.
I know my above post could cause some confusion...most improved team from 1 year to the next in NCAA Championships history. 27 places...
Plattsburgh Rules!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Not too hard when one of the teams best runners and an all-american sits out a year to travel abroad. I am more impressed with the Haverford men ranked 16th going into nationals and finishing 2nd

Erik Donohoe is one of the most humble, respectful, and purely gutsy runners in d3..I can't believe how nobody gave him respect all year on the blog...he ran with the best guys in the nation all year anyway...not a huge surprise to me that he cleaned up at nat's
Not so fast, Haverford was ranked 5th or 6th going into NCAA's. And the poll really doesnt mean crap when most people dont race each other. NYU, Cortland and Haverford all raced at some point before NCAA's and were all close. I am sure all the people from all those schools thought it would be close.
Williamete (sp) was over-ranked all season.
For a guy who only won 1 race all year and still got 6th overall at Nationals. Nice job to him. He was overshadowed all year by Kosgei and NYU and Cortland.
I'm assuming you thought Haverford men were 16th going into Nationals because of the awards banquet. It was the women's team who finished 2nd at Mideast Regionals and was ranked 16th going into Nationals.
1 person does not make 27 places up. Add Busby into last years results and they still would not have been top 20 if she won the thing.

goodbye Atlantic D3 thread...it's been real. now you can die a slow death
Not to be outdone but the Atlantic Region Women also edged the New England Women 59 - 61 to complete an Atlantic Region sweep of the NCAA regional competition. Congrats to the AR, the best region in the country this year. Now the thread can be put to bed!!!
bump.
Geneseo to upset Cortland in 08?
THey won't just upset them, they'll bring out the broom and sweep them out the door.
I'm pretty sure there is a season going on right now that we could be talking about instead of XC.
XC hasn't ended for everyone yet.
