Looks like it’s Heritage Christian’s first state title. And they didn’t even make state last year. Highest finish was 13th
Wow - good for them!

According to my on-site correspondent, Mechura lost his shoe at the mile. The fact he finished where he did is extraordinary.
Looks like it got to him towards the end, glad it didn't affect their team score. Roseville had a pretty good day.
Rock Ridge has a good sized lead. Stocke as well
Big lake in second. Got a nice top 3 but their 4/5 are bringing them down
Top 5 are still together! Holy cow!
Gerres 15:13!!!

He was just 2 seconds off of Aidan Jones’ time, and faster than Scott or Gilles.
So many teams got 5 in front of Big Lake’s 4th

Insane last miles for their 3,4,5 guys. That's the race Lakeville North wanted to execute.
East has only 1 senior. Rock Ridge has 5 seniors. Crazy
Sophomores got 3rd and 4th individually. The boys from Annandale and Willmar.

Their 6th man was right behind their 5th and is a freshman, they're set up well for next year.
They’re gonna be competitive against some of the top AAA schools and making some noise at NXR Heartland next year
So, in a nutshell, East got their first ever conference title, first ever section title, and first ever state title in the sport.
All that with 6 guys returning next year
Geez - Mankato East was in sixth at 2 miles, and then pulled off the win. That was a wild all-around closing kick!

Rosemount's 5th was way back. Could have won it
Even if he finished 16th, they still would have lost by 3 I think. Wayzata is just too strong. Fun race!
Would have been Wayzata with 59, and Rosemount with 62. Close race, like the other 2 boys races

Best day of the year is here, good luck to all!
Now with the benefit of hindsight, was this a tad hyperbolic? What was the highlight?
The Wayzata girl must be one of the top girls in the country?
