If my logic is skewed then point it out, put it in quotes and articulate a counter argument, don't just ignore it or go off topic. Finally, after all the BS you finally get back on topic. To answer your question, yes it is racist because he is an American not a Mexican. To help you understand racism here are examples of sterotypes, one which is racist and the other is not racist.
Examples of racist sterotypes;
1. Jorge Torres is a taco eating Mexican.
2. Obama is a fried chicken eating Black man.
Examples of sterotypes that are not racist;
1. Cops eat donuts.
2. Jocks are dumb.
