15 mpw...I know, pathetic.
about 6 foot 6, weigh 245. Broad at the shoulder, kind of narrow at the hip.
I am older enough to have been in the mines when most of you just started running.
I have zero miles per week. You know how hard it is to grab a sagging timber?
Wow everyone, I'm overwhelmed with the response.
I really appreciate it.
To those saying there is bias and not to much validity with the method of obtaining information, I know and completely understand what your saying and your right. But, while I have access to many runners, this is the most efficient way to get general data, sufficient for my project.
I understand that many people may be lying (which I dont understand given the forums are anonymous). I will make note of this in the final report.
The project is for practice in applying statistics. I chose this topic because I'm a runner and it interests me. As long as I cite how and where I got the data, as well as the types of bias, false information and general problems that come with the method, my grade will not be affected... How I do the math and how I apply the statistics is more important in this situation, as I will not be publishing/submitting this for anything more than a grade.
I still feel that the general idea of what I'm trying to do here will be shown, despite the "Letsrun" bias.
Thanks and keep them coming. The more the better.

I would prefer to run 60 miles per week, but work and family don't allow for that. I'd like to be back at 155 pounds, but life doesn't want to cooperate with the goal. I can always dream though.
