Aside from the steeple, looks like a good second day for Wisco. Only noticeable miss was Rucks in the 800. In a lot of events it seemed Minnesota had one guy who was the first or second guy out of the final, whereas Bucky seemed to get all their guys through.
Rucks got second in his heat, over half a second in front of third, too. Why would they not take top 2 auto with only three heats?
Gasper was actually like 1 second off the leaders with a lap to go... and then lost 40 seconds. I'd like to see some kind of video splice of Lex William's last lap of the 10k and Gasper's last lap of the steeple. It'd be exciting to see who could out-quit the other.
Now that De'Sean crushed Gasper, does this mean that he has the ultimate right to the dread locks?

Yeah, but the issue is that it cannot be a good day with pretty much a 15 point swing in the steeple, possibly costing them the title, as well as Wisco really didn't have that person step up and suprise anyone and score, aside from maybe the HJ, whereas i dont think people foresaw the gophers scoring 13 pts in the discus... but im sorry, 44 points to make up on the 3rd day is probably just going to be too much, especially given the fact that while yes wisco got some guys in events MN has none (110H, 200) and 2 better guys in the 400, they just wont be able to make up enough ground in the 800, 1500, and 5k (especially with Darling unable to go and Gasper obviously got to be hurting after that race), and with the TJ, SP, and Javelin not being points that either team is going to run away with, i just do not see how Wisconsin can catch Minnesota at this point

Yes, it is still listing the woman's 200m as the latest completed event despite that they have the men's race up. Originally the 115/110 score was listed for 17 events, now this 145/124. Who knows what happened at the end?
They had not scored the TJ, 5000, and 4x400 with the point total of 115/110. In the TJ, the gophers went 2-3 for 14 points, then in the 5k, Rombough took 2nd and torchia 6th and wisco went 3-5 for darling and Mo, with peacock taking 9th. Then in the 4x400, gophers took 4th and badgers 5th, to get to the final tally

Scoring 80 in distance. give me a break. they scored, what 57 in the 1500 on up. thats a long way from 80. in basketball that's what we call a "blow out" you wisco fans are ridiculous in your predictions. they barely held on in the 5K. Minnesota will win again both indoor and outdoor next year. Wisconsin loses a ton with Gasper, Bolas, Miller while MN has Studt and Mead waiting to return.

Love how everyone bashes Indiana for bad coaching (not peaking right, running too fast when it doesn't matter) and acts like Gary at Ohio State is some amazing guy who gets the best out of everyone. Look at the f***ing races! IU 1,2 in steeple, I thought Gary was the best steeple coach ever! Poore won the 5k going away, See had another Jeff See conference meet, ok in a few things. The hate for some schools and the love for others doesn't usually jive with actual results.
what about the women's side. for all the scholarship money given to the wisco distance girls, they only scored 6 points! that is horrible. stinzi should be ashamed.
