early NCAA D1 XC predictions

Move Oklahoma state up to 1 and drop Auburn to 8th. Big time transfer for ok state is their gain and Auburn's loss

1. Oregon- Missing big hitters (but too deep not to win)

2. Ok State- score 4 Coby and Chirchir need to run

3. Wisconsin- freshman need to step up and will will miss srs

4. Stanford- great team great coach- not sure about new class

5. NAU- but could be a lot higher- Astrada vgood Mcneil could be up there to win, do graduate some good guys though.

6. Colorado- lots of 10k guys (Kyle, Medina, Tebo AA but need other guys there)

7. Auburn- Can Carroll get them going?

8. Georgetown- Great class coming in- bumba is a talent

9. Virginia- Best coach, but young( this is one to watch for 2010 though)

10. Alabama- good but wont run smart (Maiyo gone and another too I think)

11. Tulsa- return a lot of guys, British guy up front is good

12. Butler- return lots of guys

13. Minnesota- Mead will miss Romb

14. Providence- Mccarthy, Carey, Channon could be way higher too

15. New Mexico hit or miss but have talent

16. W&M- Will always finish in this spot

17. NC st- Hill and North are great runners

18. Arkansas- One good freshman Ethiopian

19. Cal- Not sure if new miler will run xc

20. Cal Poly

21. Iowa St

22. Portland-
