Not a bad year, definitely more running that I thought I'd be able to do as a 2nd and 3rd year med student. I just hope the trend continues.
1580
Actually, that was a lot better than I thought it would be. I didn't actually miss any full weeks, but I had a lot of minor injury problems. I hope to run at least 2000 miles in 2009.
3740 miles in '08
goal of 4000 for '09
3905. 30 days of missed running.
2,015
Took off 50 straight days to heal a stress fracture from May-July (didn't run a step in the month of June), missed 4 more weeks in late fall with recurring tendonitis issues.
Average out of 365 days = 40 mpw
Average out of 255 days running total (injury time + days off) = 55 mpw
I dont care how much I run in '09 as long as I can be 100% HEALTHY.
3033 miles in 2008
only 1 PR this year (in the 3k)
I'll have to go out and knock a few more PR's off this spring.
3131.8
Not as good as the last few years, but had some good times early on in the year
3505 for 2008. My 7th year in a row of 3000+. Probably the key to racing everything from the 800 to the half thon.
Personal PR's are long gone, but the age group (46) stuff keeps me striving to run faster..
10 miles per day (avg) is the goal for '09.

missed a lot of time to injury though
1400 even down 1100 from last year. On Mar. 7 I fell 50 feet down a elevator shaft at work landing face first. So I missed a lot of time this year. 09 will be better!
2170, tracked in an excel spreadsheet
Decent for age 42, and a second year of 20+% increase from the previous year. Probably pretty close to my steady state level with work, family etc. commitments, so I'm working on increasing the quality this year.
1679...okay for a very up and down year with injuries.
High month was March with 180...dropped to 48 in July, then rallied in December with a 160 mile total.
Hoping for 2200+ in 2009!
3879, most ever, no PR's but some good races, would be shocked to repeat that number this year
3,292 miles
I write my mileage down on a calendar that I also write other stuff on. It makes me feel like I've accomplished something for the day to record that I ran. This is the first time I've totaled everything up, though, as far as each weeks, months, and year's totals.
4235.5 miles.
mileage pr by about a thousand over last year. missed about a month total from achilles and shin splints (14 days), post-marathon break (7 days), and recovery days before races. and at 39, 10 pr's at 1500m, 3k, 5k, 4M, 5M, 10k, 10M, half marathon, marathon.
a great year and I hope to break all those times this year once the snow is gone.
I ran 2523 this year without a day off.
I think this is pretty close too my highest yearly total.
Ran PR's in the:
Indoor Mile 4:28
5k 15:11
10 Miles 54:03
