Well done mate, you only let in 2 goals. Would have been more if you'd had actually played some attacking football and not played for a draw like pussies. 'I've got an idea, lets keep 10 men in our box for the whole match and maybe we'll get lucky on the counter attack'. Well, you still failed.
Baddely and McCourt both ran sub-1.47 on Saturday

and what have you achieved other than being a critical prick. Be thankful to the Americans, if it wasnt for them the World would hate the English even more.
Sorry England, the US runners are plainly faster now. Below are results from US championships.
1 Khadevis Robinson Nike 1:44.13
2 Nicholas Symmonds unattached 1:45.83
3 Jebreh Harris Reebok 1:45.91
4 Samuel Burley Asics 1:45.93
5 Kevin Elliott The Farm Team, Inc. 1:46.42
6 David Krummenacker adidas 1:46.50
having one guy faster than our best guy does not make the americans 'plainly faster'

Robinson and a healthy Krummenacker will take out the UK 800 meter runners.
I see 7 American's ranked in the IAAF top fifty in the 800, but only one runner from the UK.
Just be satisfied with your mediocrity. Your minnow nation can't compete with the USA.

Quite possibly the funniest thing I've ever read on here. Well done!
There is truth in humor.

You definitely need to get out more.

whatever... I'm not going to argue. Half miling in the UK is showing notable signs of improvement after several years in the doldrums. The US has a few decent runners too but we have a European Championships to look forward to in the summer.
I agree. Cram at his best was unstoppable. He beat Cruz and Aouita at their peak, as well as Ovett twice in 83 (when Ovett broke the World record) and Coe too in 85 over the Mile and in 86 over 1500.
Of course, it is arguable that The big three were never all fully fit at the same time.
