I am surprised (maybe only a bit) by your post. I thought that Happy Jack made a good point. Certainly it did not deserve the pejorative "word salad" that you ascribed to it.
Regarding war crimes - yes, unspeakably terrible things have been done by Russian soldiers in Ukraine. And yes, you can post pretty much whatever you want.
But every Russian soldier is an individual and should not be judged by the crimes of other individuals. Some are far beyond being a-holes and deserve far worse than death. Others are decent human beings thrown into something that they did not ask for and doing the best they can while trapped within the horrors of war.
The collective work of the Russian army is itself a war crime. They are committing genocide as a strategy, so I'm not sure you can excuse individuals as being separate from those crimes. I realize many of these soldiers also have a sad lot in life, but they are not where my empathy currently lies in this affair.
Stop the pom pom waiving. Biden, back in the spring wouldn't allow President Z to negotiate an end to the Conflict. More than once pro-Ukrainian posters have responded to me they expect Putin to back down as did Brezhnev & Gorbachev. I don't believe Brezhnev knew the level of Israeli & U.S. involvement. Many in now former Soviet Union believe U.S. flipped Gorbachev. A negotiated deal is how this is going to end. Many pro-Ukrainians who post on this thread, consider themselves intellectuals but they foolishly hold onto a belief of Russian Unconditional Surrender. Ignorant chicken hawks.
You're a fraudulent moron.

If I were fraudulent, I would have been blocked from posting months ago. All pro-Ukrainians on this thread were exposed a couple weeks ago. A non-Ukrainian lover posted regarding Israel. Before I go further, real U.S. loyalists sometimes have to choose. U.S. and Israel are not 100% allies. Israel intentionally fired upon U.S.S. Liberty, 1967 Conflict. U.S. wasn't on Israel's side or necessarily Egypt's side. Not one pro-Ukrainian poster stood up to condemn Israel. O.P. tried to steer the debate to his dislike of G.O.P. All pro-Ukrainians on this thread have been exposed to actually being Israeli loyalists, not U.S. loyalists.

Some of them may just be anti-Russia, on account of the Russian military being: 1) pathetic, 2) prone to committing war crimes, 3) pathetic, 4) corrupt, 5) incompetent, 6) pathetic.

Dumb statement. Yeah, we're all "Israeli loyalists". I'm American, not Jewish, and have never been to Israel.

So what branch of the United States military did you serve in?

Your first statement is not necessarily correct. Moderators aren't spending time vetting our statements about ourselves.
I can't speak for everyone, but for me and others (per statements they have made here), whether we support Israel, don't support Israel, or support Israel on some matters but not others is irrelevant to support for Ukraine or condemnation of Russia. So to argue that we have been exposed as Israeli loyalists is dimwitted.

I will stand up an condemn Israel early and often. And I am Jewish and my step father is a Rabbi. If you are against Israel's annexation of Palestinian lands, you have a whole lot of work to do in order to be against Ukraine's fight against Russia's annexation of Ukrainian lands.
And you do not even get the Russian talking points on the spring negotiations right. Boris Johnson is allegedly the one who told Zelensky that he could not cut a deal with Putin because the West was not ready to deal with Putin. But this is all speculation based on hearsay in news reports. What really happened was that Putin spiked the deal. Putin claimed that NATO expansion towards RU was an existential threat which prompted the invasion of Ukraine. The framework peace deal that was negotiated in the spring had Ukraine agreeing to stay out of NATO in exchange for RU respecting the 2014 borders. But after Ukraine was able to repulse the initial Russian invasion (in a fashion that was very embarrassing for Putin), Putin decided that he wanted to take territory from Ukraine and spiked the peace deal. When Zelensky found out about the Bucha massacre, he pulled out of peace negotiations. But by that point, the original deal of NATO neutrality had been rejected by Russia and territorial concession were now on the table. In reality the negotiations were a sham. Putin never had any real political objective for the invasion. He just thought that he could walk over Ukraine like he did in Crimea in 2014 and the world would not want to get involved because of intervention fatigue that was on display in Afghanistan and Syria.
Putin's chief envoy on Ukraine told the Russian leader as the war began that he had struck a provisional deal with Kyiv that would satisfy Russia's demand that Ukraine stay out of NATO, but Putin rejected it, according to sou...
If there is a war and you find yourself on the side of Putin, China, North Korea and Iran and against all the Democracies of NATO, you might want to ask yourself, "Am I really on the right and good side".

Just a thought.
Can you elaborate why you would think so?
Most of the Germans during the WWII were thinking that they're absolutely right in their philosophy.
Just for the record, ca. 40% of the world think they're right and the US + the EU are wrong.
What a garbage thread. The delicate losers in favor of American empire building can’t handle a few simple questions with deleting the post. Coward is as coward does.
You do realize that Russia, not America, is the one trying to annex parts of another country in a failed attempt to rebuild an empire, don’t you?
If Ukraine would just have evacuated then nobody would have got killed. They had plenty of warning.
The smartest thing to do is always evacuate. Even if that means moving to the South or North Pole. It's simple.
There's no reason why any of this should be going on. Russia is clearly way bigger. If a bigger country wants to do this to a smaller country then the ENTIRE smaller country meaning every SINGLE person in that country should leave.
If anything at this point the USA should be helping Ukraine to evacuate to a safer place.
Nobody would have got killed in this war if EVERY SINGLE PERSON in Ukraine would have left before it started.
And the people that didn't have the money to leave should have been funded to leave. Not to fight back. Fighting back is worthless. There's no winner or loser in a fight.

Seriously? You are going to bring up a conflict that happened 55 years ago and somehow turn the discussion toward that?
Does anyone have any close to exact numbers on how many people have died now because of this war?
I don't think anyone person today has any clear knowledge of the death toll of Russian soldiers, Ukraine soldiers and civilians kill thus far.
I'd be willing to guess close to 120,000 on all sides. Plus around 700,000 wounded. Know one will know for sure until the war is over. And even then the numbers might be sketchy.

The problem here is that the US does not care to save Ukrainian lives. They just want a NATO base and geopolitical influence zone right next to Russian border. Therefore this war will go untill last Ukranian soldier drops dead on the battlefield. Then Polish and British will take over from there.

And if those 120,000 people or so were given funding to evacuate instead of fight then they would still be here today. Those were potential future lawyers, scientists... etc.. Damn that sucks.
Well I guess you would have to split that in half or so depending on the exact ratio. So if those 60,000 or so Ukrainians would just have had the proper funding and a proper place to evacuate to then they would still be alive..
I have no clue why any Ukrainian is still there right now. Makes no sense to me. Evacuation to a safer place with the proper funding is always the best option.
