4/28 data
This Tuesday, like last Tuesday, served as an awful catch up day from the weekend.
The numbers today were very bad and actually made the 7 day averages significantly worse than they were yesterday.
7 day average change in daily deaths:
World: +1% per day
US: +4% per day
So we're not getting better, using the last 7 days as a reference point.
Let's hope that the weekly pattern happens in the other direction...that Friday/Sat are good days that will put us into negative numbers again.
I've been tracking Sweden for obvious reasons.
They started the week 10th worst nation in per capita deaths and now they are 12th.
Maybe in that sense their strategy is working. Although Sweden's per capita death numbers are far, far worse than Norway, Finland, Denmark. Hard to get around that. Sweden seems to have sacrificed its elderly population.
