His failure to act and act early has been understated IMO. Think this through as if you are POTUS:
- he became POTUS and quickly eliminated the pandemic team. That decision was his.
- he knew about China and had the best intel much earlier than the public. He brushed it off as not urgent.
- instead of taking stock of all available vital supplies, he actually continued to give billions worth to China, all while publicly claiming CV was a nothingburger
- over several weeks while knowing the virus was starting to spread, he continued to claim there was no issue and spent this valuable time golfing and attacking the media
- he did no coordinating with states as cases began to pop up
- there was never a plan and there still isn't
- the press conferences have become a substitute for his rallies, Americans are getting nothing but lies from him
- President Notmyfault continues to point the finger at anyone but himself and has declared he takes no responsibility
- any action on his part to help has been forced and not well organized. States are still not getting the support they need.
My question is - knowing this, how can anyone claim that he has handled this well?

Like I said, sometimes you make your own luck. Better management might have avoided the problem.
But I'm sure that many, many plants have the same mismanagement and they were not hit like this. Luck is still a key part of it.
Equally, on the response to the virus NYC sets a much higher standard. They still have a local social-care network, so they’re more nimble. They’re investing in laptops for all their schoolkids - no more digital divide.

Trump has failed the biggest test of his presidency. The magas don't care - they just want to seem him fighting the Dems and elites.
But for anyone with sense...they can see that he is not leading as a good president would lead. His leadership is simply missing, not there, gone, absent.
In two ways: He is not comforting the nation and he is not organizing the effort.

The study is fake news & inconclusive . The article that you libs are citing explicitly says that it was not a scientific study & NOT recognized by any scientific/medical journals. It consists of observations of men in a VA hospital who were already on ventilators. Almost all of the patients had other serious life threatening conditions, which is a known triggers for the virus to have lethal results.
Big Pharma & the doctors that promote for them hate Hydroxychloroquine because it results in zero profits.
