The post office may be insolvent by September because Trump won’t help the post office with their funding issues in this crisis.
Checks with Trump’s name on them have to be mailed by the US Postal Service.
I see a dilemma.
More grandstanding and narcissism by your DES-POTUS, wants his name and signature on cheques as if it is his money or even his job to process that.
But seriously, who still mails cheques? First world countries like Australia have made their stimulus payments via the following"
People not working and receiving support: Already have electronic accounts into which additional money going
People newly unemployed and qualifying: Create online registration and payment follows.
People losing jobs/threatened with job loss (where company turnover loss meets criteria): Jobkeeper money deposited through tax office to companies then to employee to retain employee (they have the crosschecks on tax deductions/payroll and company turnover).
Simple and straightforward.
Perhaps after this and the US is taken over (bought out) they may become first world too, electronic payments etc and no grandstanding DEPOT(US)'s
