I feel bad for her too. Anyone can confirm she is okay? I keep wondering if she just lied to her coach about the training run time and things snowballed. But how dumb would a coach have to be to think someone will set the AR out of nowhere on a hilly course soloing in a training run on a road course open to traffic. And then be able to follow up a couple weeks later. So then it would seem to be that it is either true or a conspiracy. Feel bad.

FMD give us a break, the three of them were in on it. The one/org I feel empathy for is Rotary.

"Quakertown Rotary Hello everyone, this is Bob Bodkin, Quakertown Rotarian, co-race director, and a runner.
I was not aware that this was getting to be such a big issue until I saw the posts during a brief lay-over in my travels today.
I get it. You are skeptical, and that is understandable. I have seen Jill's training stats and gps data, but I do not possess it, and I have not run with her (as if I could keep up anyway), so no, I do not have the proof you are looking for. I will attempt to get your questions answered, though. From the data I saw, I think this is legit, though.
This race is one of two major fundraising events for our small charitable organization, and as Sean Stetler mentioned, it is a great race. I ran in the race for years, and it became one of the reasons I joined the Rotary. ALL the proceeds go to help the Quakertown and Palisades Youth through several programs and grants we provide to other organizations.
When I got the call asking if the course was certified and the reason why, I was excited not only for Jill, but for our race. An AR in Qtown! What a great way to grow our race!"
