If that number were true you'd think that an active duty soldier would have posted by now. Or their families would have came forward about not hearing from their loved ones. I don't think that number is true but I do think it is higher than what we've been told in the news

Persian and similar region countries have a history of facing down superpowers. The Afghans drove the Russians out when they tried to invade. People in that part of the world operate with a very different dog-eat-dog mindset where they fight to the last drop of blood.
That's why they're so quick to become suicide bombers. They don't fear death like we do in the West.

This recent protest had a much broader appeal with a lot of people in smaller cities and towns joining in over the economic conditions in Iran. But now that Trump has bombed Iran, a lot of the people who were willing to come out against the regime are now ready to fight the Great Satan and support the regime.
