Is there a results page?
The news would be out there before the results posted on monday obviously. No word yet over 30 minutes after she would have finished. this is dumb.
That's in really poor taste, to be posting insults under the Rotary's profile...

RD is quite the guy. Handles criticism about as well as Donald Trump.
http://imgur.com/fWk77hzAfter that finish he owes this person an apology big time! They messaged him with respectful concerns and he responds with that? I'm sure the fellow Rotary members are proud of the way he represents them.
How can the RD respond like that when he knows he is lying?
Main seg is
Heard Jill No show. Overall Winner supposedly was over an hour.
Am I the only one who finds all this nonsense, at minimum, mildly insulting to the actual course record holder? He's not an Olympian, but his PR's are more than impressive, and I can't imagine he doesn't work damn hard. For this RD and doctor to suggest some unknown woman, who has never run a road race in her life, beat his course record by 2+ minutes on a training run is a joke.
I don't know what their endgame was in all of this, but I know I'd never particpate in anything involving these two doofuses.
what a surprise
Guy on Strava called Brian Dalek uploaded a 60.38 run.https://www.strava.com/activities/509162694

"Rotary Club:
Rotary International is an international service organization whose stated human rights purpose is to bring together business and professional leaders in order to provide humanitarian services,
** encourage high ethical standards in all vocations **
, and to advance goodwill and peace around the world."
What a waste of time this whole episode has been. I've followed this thread occasionally for a couple of weeks with a bit of amusement but being from overseas I've never heard of the race, town or individuals involved.
If the whole thing has been a marketing exercise for the race & sponsor it has backfired. All I have is a negative impression of Quakertown, Rotary, Bob Bodkin, Austin Sedicum, his medical practice, and this particular 10 mile race. Previously I had no knowledge or opinion of any of them.
Well played lads. Well played.

Rotary is a club for the wannabe rich.
It's a disgrace.

Don't forget Runners World on the wall of shame for allowing Sedicum to write for them.
My guess is results will be posted here:

Unfortunately, it sounds like they don't post weekend results until Monday morning around 9 AM, due to the fact that they are a small podunk organization.
Top female was around 65 min...Not sure if it was Jill or not.

Does it matter if it was?
I apologize for my boisterous posting about Jill the last few weeks. It put so much pressure on her that she was not going to run at all. She was very adamant but I finally talked her into coming out early and running the course by herself. She was very nervous about all the hype especially on the letsrun message board she came across a few days ago. Jill came out at 6:30 as we were getting everything ready to go. She didn't run as well as she had been and was only able to complete the course in 53:38. We will be looking at opportunities in the future for her to go after some American records. Thanks for all that supported her.

Did she feel the pressure before or after she told the race director Wednesday that she was feeling good and the record attempt was on?
She was part of the promotion of a record that would be national sports news but a message board made her nervous?
The official Facebook page of the race is still advertising the record attempt and asking people to spend money to register for the race to be part of the record breaking. Why didn't you or her inform the race director?
Asking people to spend money on an event that you know won't happen is fraud, so the race director must not have known that Jill was not going to show.
