Right. That's what I'm saying. It's about your hypocrisy. You are a hypocrite.
Within 30 seconds I was able to find main stream news sources about shelling at the plant.
Here, this is from the New York Times:
If Russians are so concerned about shelling at the plant, maybe they shouldn't have taken it over and declared it part of Russia. That's what I'm worried about. But, you worry about who is or isn't reporting on it.
Where are news about Ukrainians shelling the nuclear plant? Re-read this question as many times as you need and then try to answer.
Yeah, if Russians are so concerned... blah blah blah, yada yada... If Russians took control of a power plant it makes it ok for Ukrainians to shell it?
If Western media would report about Ukrainian war crimes and terrorist acts just as much as it does about Russian ones, citizens of the Western world would not support Ukraine. The only difference in Ukrainian and Russian mentality and methods is that Ukrainians got approached by the EU and NATO to serve as a tool against Russia.
Once Russia is exhausted and Ukraine is half-way destroyed, the West will "helpfully" show up to suck dry what's left of Ukraine and acquire all their valuable assets for pennies. Why? Because they can :)
There are smart people getting paid a lot of money to spend every day of their lifetime to plan on such things for world-leading countries. It's called geopolitical strategy.
And black and white, wright and wrong is for stupid and poor.
Russians are committing 98% of the war crimes during their unnecessary invasion. Hence, their war crimes receive 98% of the war crime coverage. If Russia doesn’t want to continually be in the news for committing war crimes, they could march their pathetic as*es back to Moscow. Until then, their war crimes are getting just as much coverage as they deserve.

Why should there be a particular coverage of Ukraine attacking these Russian troops? You said if there are troops there (and there are) it’s a war act. The media doesn’t report on every war act, nor should it.
Maybe you should be asking why are there Russia troops at a Ukrainian nuclear power plant in the first place?

I'd say it's more like 50-50, with a 98-2 coverage. Media does this. Why? Because they're told so. How else will people support the huge military spending if you show them, that Ukrainians are barbarians and terrorists, shelling nuclear power plants? And you surely can't show them how West-Ukrainians were revenge-killing civilians of Kupiansk for siding with Russia. I would not be surprised though if they would dig up the bodies themselves in a few weeks and blame Russia for this.
Once again, all of this is simply a tool to achieve two goals: exhaust Russia and absorb Ukraine. Whatever the hell happens in the next years, you can be sure that these two thing will happen.
I don't care if Ukrainians are killing other Ukrainians and shelling a nuclear power plant. We still have to support them, as it won't impact the US in any way, but will give us the satisfaction of sticking it to russkies.
Putler apologists are brain-dead on the essential issue: On Feb 24th, it was not Ukrainian tanks rolling towards Moscow and Petersburg, it was Russian tanks rolling towards Kyiv and Kharkov. They act as if the West is the aggressor, and poor LiiliPutin the aggrieved, which is a Goebbels-scale lie of spectacular arrogance and ignorance. The biggest lie since "Two weeks to flatten the curve".

You're wrong. Russia should have never invaded Ukraine and should have just watched NATO install it's missiles in Ukraine. The truth always is on the American side and we will makes sure to destroy those, who don't want to be our puppets.

You're so right. And when our tanks were flattening civilians in Afghanistan, it's good, because it's us! We're never the aggressor, it's always the dirty russkies and dirty Arab cavemen.

Quite literally the stupidest attempt at false equivalence in the history of this board...congrats on your Lifetime Achievement Award, Master Baiter.
Ja Ja war works to change regimes. We don’t want war with Russia. I’m pointing out that sanctions don’t cause regime change. Much.
Too late. Ukraine is a proxy war, just like Barbarossa was in 1941, which triggered lend-lease from the Allies to USSR, resulting in Hitler stalling outside of Moscow. The shoe is on the other foot today for Mr. Putler.
Ask the Nazis who were scraping barrels with their tongues 1944 for any sanctioned resources in if sanctions don't work. Japan too, for that matter. They felt it so acutely in 1941 that it caused them to make their biggest blunder in history in Pearl Harbor.
Damn...OK that is the last history lesson for you today young man!

Why do these people think WW2 was not a war?
Why do fools believe that Ukraine is not a war, and that sanctions are part of winning wars?
You're like a bystander watching a rape happen right in front of you who thinks saying mean things to the rapist without intervening and throwing some cash into the room makes you a good person.
"Some cash in the room" certainly has the Russian Army on the ropes and looking at the greatest defeat in modern times of a bullying force of supposedly superior weight. This is the only conflict in my 65 years where I have taken a side and the Ukrainian people have done the Western World proud in fending off a bloody czarist invasion.
You are exactly like the weaklings who claimed in the '80s that Reagan would start WWIII and that the Soviet Union was too strong to collapse against Western power. You were wrong then and wrong again today. Both the Soviet Union and LilliPutin's RuSSia are rotten and dying systems that must be defeated then rebuilt like Japan and Germany after WWII.
Slava Ukraine and pass the Himars!
Amazing that you declare yourself to be neutral on people like Pol Pot, Slobodan Milosevic, and the Taliban without even a hint of self awareness...
The Soviet Union was the USA's direct adversary in the 1980s. There's no comparison between Russia and Ukraine today and the USA and USSR in the 1980s.
Ukraine and Russia are not very different at all. This notion that Ukraine is some pro-western democracy is a media invented farce.
Interesting thread - it says the public opinion of UK intelligence is that we are about to see another pivot in the war - RU will run out of weapons soon. I'm sure the UK would not say this if the US did not agree.
This would be a nice outcome. Run away, russkies, run away.
NEW: Russia is running out of weapons for its war in Ukraine and the costs to the Kremlin are “staggering” in terms of soldiers and equipment lost, UK spy chief Sir Jeremy Fleming, head of @GCHQ, will say in a speech on Tuesday. 1/
When are you going to tell us how this ends? It's been two days. By now, you should have been able to locate Ukraine on a map, and type up a summary of how this ends. Are you scared to say how this ends because your previous predictions were wrong?
Barring Putin's assassination or overthrow this war will either go nuclear, drag on for years, or end in a settlement that allows Putin to save some face.
Your fantasy of Ukraine throwing the last Russian out of Crimea or Donbas by the scruff and throwing a parade is never going to happen.

Those predictions are a big change from the earlier one: "Kiev has 3-4 more days left and then Zelensky will flee to his sponsors in the US.”
It's almost like your predictions follow whatever emotional state you happen to be in, whether it's gleeful, cynical, pompous, bitter, etc.

remember: Russians are right wingers, culturally conservative and autocrats so they are good. They cannot be defeated, just as Trump cannot lose an election. It's just math.
