Ukraine is working hard to create a nuclear crisis in Ukraine without Russia's help.
Doesn't fit the Western agenda, dismissed!
Since the UN watchdogs stay quiet about who's shelling the power plant, one can safely assume it's Ukrainians. If it was Russians, we wouldn't hear the end of it on the news.
Only a few hours ago you wrote: “Russians blowing up a theater or a train station with soldiers inside is not a terror act, but a war act.” Since Russia has troops and equipment at the power plant, Ukrainian shelling is a war act by your definition. So, what’s the problem?
"Vladimir Putin tried to channel Adolph Hitler’s eloquence and hatefulness, but unfortunately KGB officers are not articulate, and his “Hurray, hurray, hurray!” was a paltry imitation of sieg heil. Putin has failed badly as a Nazi leader and as a marshal, too. While he celebrated another land grab, Ukrainian Army encircled his troops in Lyman, liberating swathes of the only province, Luhansk Oblast, that his army has managed to occupy in its entirety literally drenching in blood every conquered inch of the territory." -Misha Firer

Whenever in doubt, simply remember: It's always about hypocricy.
While it's an act of war, I find wrong not to report about it. Why not just write an article on CNN, BBC and alike about Ukrainians shelling a nuclear power plant???
That's why I'm positive, it was either Ukrainians and/or NATO exploding Nord Stream. Because if there was a slightest indication that it was Russia, the case would have been made really quickly and the news would have been crucifying Russia non-stop already.
Rusophobia and bias do not have any limits on Western news outlets.

Speaking of which, I wonder when Western media will start reporting on West-Ukrainian army revenge-killing civilians of Kupiansk. There even are videos of it already.
I'm not sure how to define right and wrong in many wars, but clearly giant goliaths of nations have lost foreign wars against smaller opponents, on foreign turf. Vietnam, Afghanistan twice. Korea wasn't a case of a giant nation subduing a smaller one.
So there is ample precedent for UKR to defend its turf until RU gives up and goes away.
Actually America and Allies had the war won, until General MacArthur decided to take the war all the way to the Yellow River Bridge bordering North Korea with China. For China that was a "Bridge too far." So we are living with the results until today. MacAurthur and Eisenhower were the best generals we had during WWII. But they were also humans, and made mistakes. The most successful Nations and their Generals are the ones that make the fewest mistakes.
Think about it like a chess game. In chess you might lose many pieces, rooks, bishops, knights, ect. But in real war you don't get to play best out of three games. You either win or lose. MacAuthur won many battles during WWII and Korea. But lost his last one twice. China invaded North Korea and Pres. Harry Truman fired him.
Sanctions are working! Yale University have conducted studies on this.
However, if you get your news from YouTube, that’s your ignorance speaking.
Are there any examples of sanctions causing regime change? Or even getting rogue nations to change their behavior for the better?
I doubt it.
There was this little rogue country called "Germany" which was heavily embargoed both in 1918 and again in 1939. After a bit of a struggle, the country knuckled under an underwent regime change both times.
Any other history lessons will have to wait until tomorrow, I've got errands to do.
You can't comprehend your own posts. I'm asking you for the big picture, and every single factor, rationale and support you have for your glaringly stupid statement that "it was bad for Ukraine that the west was willing to send weapons." The only thing you can come up with big picture-wise on that is that Ukrainians are, in your opinion, too misguided and uninformed to know that they are better off losing the war quickly and being conquered and occupied by invading Russians than being ruled by their own politicians. I've already said what that "simple logic" says about you.
You're still not understanding how this ends...
When are you going to tell us how this ends? It's been two days. By now, you should have been able to locate Ukraine on a map, and type up a summary of how this ends. Are you scared to say how this ends because your previous predictions were wrong?

Right. That's what I'm saying. It's about your hypocrisy. You are a hypocrite.
Within 30 seconds I was able to find main stream news sources about shelling at the plant.
Here, this is from the New York Times:
"Early Saturday, Russian shelling caused the plant to lose access to external power, forcing it to rely on diesel generators to power safety equipment used to cool its reactors, according to Ukrainian officials. Russia’s Ministry of Defense blamed Ukrainian forces for the shelling, saying in a statement on Telegram that Ukrainian rockets had hit near the industrial zone and knocked out the power supply."
If Russians are so concerned about shelling at the plant, maybe they shouldn't have taken it over and declared it part of Russia. That's what I'm worried about. But, you worry about who is or isn't reporting on it.

Ja Ja war works to change regimes. We don’t want war with Russia. I’m pointing out that sanctions don’t cause regime change. Much.

Too late. Ukraine is a proxy war, just like Barbarossa was in 1941, which triggered lend-lease from the Allies to USSR, resulting in Hitler stalling outside of Moscow. The shoe is on the other foot today for Mr. Putler.
Ask the Nazis who were scraping barrels with their tongues 1944 for any sanctioned resources in if sanctions don't work. Japan too, for that matter. They felt it so acutely in 1941 that it caused them to make their biggest blunder in history in Pearl Harbor.
Damn...OK that is the last history lesson for you today young man!

Sanctions defeated Japan?
So all we have to do is sanction Russia. Oh, and drop a few nuclear bombs.

It's an act of lunacy.
It's nuclear power plant
Yeah, then Russia should withdraw. It would really solve a lot of problems.

Where are news about Ukrainians shelling the nuclear plant? Re-read this question as many times as you need and then try to answer.
Yeah, if Russians are so concerned... blah blah blah, yada yada... If Russians took control of a power plant it makes it ok for Ukrainians to shell it?
If Western media would report about Ukrainian war crimes and terrorist acts just as much as it does about Russian ones, citizens of the Western world would not support Ukraine. The only difference in Ukrainian and Russian mentality and methods is that Ukrainians got approached by the EU and NATO to serve as a tool against Russia.
Once Russia is exhausted and Ukraine is half-way destroyed, the West will "helpfully" show up to suck dry what's left of Ukraine and acquire all their valuable assets for pennies. Why? Because they can :)
There are smart people getting paid a lot of money to spend every day of their lifetime to plan on such things for world-leading countries. It's called geopolitical strategy.
And black and white, wright and wrong is for stupid and poor.
