So it's not "manufacturers". It's one manufacturer. And they are not telling owners of all EVs not to park in the garage. It only affects a limited number of cars with batteries made in South Korea. And they said nothing about parking near things that are flammable.

It is one manufacturer and it is only one model and it is only a limited number of cars within that model.

It is not a matter of time before the battery catches fire. That's another lie. GM says that for the South Korean battery to catch fire it must have two rare defects in the same cell. So even for batteries that are recalled, almost all of them will turn out to be completely safe.

Instead of acknowledging the fact that a gas car is 11x more likely to catch fire than an EV, you chose to tell a big whopper of a lie.

These things are dangerous. 🔥🔥🔥 owners need to be very careful with these rolling time bombs. Again, you are lying to the people on this thread. Gas cars are 11x more likely to catch fire. We have over 500 gas cars catch fire every day in the US alone.

Now you tell a new whopper saying that bigger batteries are more likely to catch fire. There is zero evidence of that. The truth is that batteries are getting safer and safer as manufacturers learn more about this new technology.

Anyone can Google "car fire" and find dozens of recent articles from local news sources that show gas cars going up in flames. I did this on the thread already to make my point.

You do have a potential killer in the garage. You own a car filled with 16 gallons of highly flammable liquid. Those things catch fire 11x more often than an EV.

And there is absolutely no doubt that EVs are better for the environment. That is something that has been studied to death and proven over and over.
