Obviously Putin is a monster who is responsible for the trail of torture left as the Russians retreat. But at some point we need to hold the Russian people responsible for this. They allowed Putin to do this. They committed the acts of torture. They bought the whole nonsense of this justified "military operation" (its not a war?). Now that they are losing badly, many are starting to think it was a bad idea.
They are like the m'aga republicans in that they want to believe the lies they are told. I have no sympathy for most of the Russian people.
If you think life in a pro-Western democracy is the same as life under an authoritarian dictator, then you’re even dumber than I gave you credit for.
Please compare freedom of expression in Ukraine vs. Russia.
How about censorship on the internet in Ukraine vs. Russia.
How about freedom to protest the government in Ukraine vs. Russia.
Ukraine isn’t perfect by any means, but Russia is a f*cking sh*thole. I mean, people are legitimately concerned about Putin using nuclear weapons to defend his ego.
Oh boy, where do I even begin. You truly have no idea what life in Ukraine looks like. All pro-Russian news outlets and political entities have been banned there. Leaders of negotiations, that where willing to negotiate, have been straight up executed, no court. AZOV fighters have been sent to Donbas to brutalize pro-Russian protesters. All men (18-60) have been forbidden to leave the country.
Ukraine is ABSOLUTELY SAME f*cking sh*thole like Russia, only the way of stealing and corruption there is being styled up with a hint of the EU flavor.
Russians fleeing from mobilization and Ukrainians not being allowed to do so is all you need to know about so called freedom.
Discussions about Putin and his ego are not based on anything, but fantasies, so I won't even get into that.
You can't comprehend your own posts. I'm asking you for the big picture, and every single factor, rationale and support you have for your glaringly stupid statement that "it was bad for Ukraine that the west was willing to send weapons." The only thing you can come up with big picture-wise on that is that Ukrainians are, in your opinion, too misguided and uninformed to know that they are better off losing the war quickly and being conquered and occupied by invading Russians than being ruled by their own politicians. I've already said what that "simple logic" says about you.

Oh. Poor little Lolly. Must have stuck a nerve by pointing out the truth that Ukraine is better than Russia in every regard.

You willing to be held responsible for Gitmo and Abu Graib?

You have never been to Ukraine nor Russia, therefore I wonder what and how you're comparing. Very big opinions for such little knowledge :)
You boast democracy, yet it is Ukraine, where a democratically elected president was ousted by a group of pro-Western radicals (with help of Ukrainian nationalists).
You only mad, that Russia never was the US puppet and never will be. People there have some pride and self-respect left.
Speaking of sh*tholes, I was *schocked* during my visit in L.A. I wish Americans would mind their own business a bit more, instead of trying yo play unappointed "world police".
Carmine - a few weeks ago, you were cheering on Russia’s attacks on civilian infrastructure, including power plants in Ukraine. Now that the bridge between Crimea and Russia has been attacked, Russian Foreign Ministry Spokeswoman Maria Zakharova says, "The Kiev regime’s reaction the destruction of civilian infrastructure highlights its terrorist nature.” So, since we all know Russia attacked civilian infrastructure in Ukraine, and you supported those attacks, does that make Russia a state-sponsee of terrorism? Or is it only terrorism when Ukraine does it?
p.s. Maria Zakharova‘s comments are reported in TASS, the epitome of Russian propaganda, so they are not CIA propaganda, Western lies, or because the MSM is run by liberals.
Putin being killed by his own people and an immediate cease fire would be the ideal scenario but the guy is like Hitler in his bunker at this point. No one who isn't just as deranged as he is and totally loyal to him is getting anywhere near him.
Can't point to US pols noting they do not care about Ukraine.
