For me the sun shone a little brighter and the air feels crisp and clean today
If liberals are butt-hurt and upset then this must be a good thing.

If it's true (as Obama says) that business already chose this, and have done so for reasons other than oppressive taxes (cough-cough, coal), then who cares whether USA as a nation is in it or not?

Climate hysteria is the strangest phenomenon I've witnessed. Interesting case of a very successful propaganda campaign that has rendered normally sane people absolutely bonkers.
It took many sane people a loooong time to realize that even scientists are primarily driven by money.
Mate. I'm not a liberal, I'm a human not an insect. You however seem to be an insect.
Trump: "It fails to live to our environmental ideals"
Not only does this deal subject our citizens to harsh economic restrictions, it fails to live up to our environmental ideals,â€
https://www.washingtonpost.com/news/the-fix/wp/2017/06/01/transcript-president-trumps-remarks-on-leaving-the-paris-climate-deal-annotated/Pence: You know it's the greatest privilege of my life to serve as vice president to a president who is fighting every day to make America great again.
Looks like both sides are doing the Twitter war.

Trump cares about what is best for the economy. That's why he is promoting the interests of a dying industry like coal over clean tech, which is already a much larger driver of job growth. That's why he is ensuring that many jobs manufacturing wind turbines and solar panels will go to China instead of America. That's why he is tacitly supporting higher energy prices for average Americans in the long-term.
Trump cares about the environment. That's why he is eliminating clean water protections and measures that reduce air pollution. (contaminated water and asthma are FAKE NEWS!) That's why he appointed an oil and gas industry lobbyist to protect us from that industry's nasty tendency of putting profits ahead of the well-being of average Americans and our land.
Trump cares about the little guy. That's why he is proposing budget cuts to emergency response agencies as extreme weather events become more frequent. That's why he has crammed his cabinet full of billionaires and corporate monkeys. That's why he has allowed multinational oil companies to hide the bribes they pay foreign governments to give them drilling rights, but doesn't think any of us normal people should be entitled to basic internet privacy.
Beautifully stated!

Which is perfectly true. The biggest problem today is overpopulation. Transferring money from rich successful countries to poor failed countries only leads to further population explosion. We need to contain these countries and let them sort out their misery themselves.

Oh joy, another Paul Ehrlich hoaxer, complete with regulating the populations of "undesirable" nations (cf. Kissinger, NSSM-200). Tell that to Erdogan, will ya?
Did Obama ever promise to reduce his personal carbon emissions by 26-28% of their 2005 levels by 2025?
Conservatives don't even know why they like this decision. But Trump did it, so yay MAGA, etc. If he signs the same deal next week they'll say YESSS!!! Eat that libruls! We love the environment!
Even Trump superfan DiscoGary hasn't given an explanation on this thread beyond "go read a thing." But then, DiscoGary has never had anything of substance to offer this board. He talks like conspiracy theorists. "Go look it up, I don't have to tell you."
Gary, just admit it - you like it if Trump does it, and your "thinking" goes no deeper than that.

Not regulate. Just keep them away from us and our allies.

Nice try to project. Trump himself in the speech (which I'm sure you've read, eyeroll) outlined the major reasons for his historic decision, and they essentially dovetailed what's been the talking points into conservative-world for some time now.
But the only reason libs can give to be in it, is some gobbledy gook about being a world leader (leading to where?), or climate panic (we're all doomed, but give us all your money anyway), or because Obama signed it it's a done deal, or ... Somewhere in the thread it was pointed out that if it's "good" for communities, they will do it anyway, just without USA lead at a federal level. So be it then, we'll see who it pans out for, the big-city liberal mayors who are committed to it, or the rest of USA.
Not sure why everyone is so worked up about this, I would pull out of Paris, too, you don't want children with her.

some gobbledy gook about being a world leader
Times change. I can remember when ESPN was a "world leader in sports", and now they're just a world leader in dressed-up political grievance.
This is so racist. I hope US court bans him for it.

Yeah we do. Can't help you if you don't read, though.

Hahaha! Yeah, sure. All that money they make working away in relative anonymity on a topic with no prospects of being profitable on its own. Last flight I was on first class was loaded with environmental scientists.
What other conspiracy theories are they posting on Brietgart today?

No you weren't. They all use their private jets.
