I ran 220/440 for an NAIA school in the late 60s/early 70s. After my military service I played professional billiards for a couple of years and made enough to cover my post-grad education. I also just missed qualifying for a couple of pro surfing events on the West Coast before I went into the Navy to do some classified stuff in Vietnam. Since coming back to running I have a couple of 5th place results in National Masters XC.
My son started for two national championship football games, won one lost one and was also AA in track. Division II, which has a legitimate NCAA football championship.
I was a varsity wrestler in high school. We should have won regionals that year, but we didn't.
I really loved rolling around with another scantily clad boy while wearing just a little jumpsuit. Wrestling was a magical experience.
