Irv Ray who contributed to Ryan Hall in highschool, and now trains Chad Hall at UC Riverside is a complete religious whacko too. Coincidince? Ive done some runs with Ryan and had him speek to several of us privatly at Mammoth for over 30 minutes and I can say that he is a religious nut. I think when it is time for him to retire that he will either be very lost or become a hardcore missionary. I want to thank god for making me a hater and please understand that this is his plan for me to talk shit so if you dont like what I have to say you should really be mad at god.

He said he had zero friends in High School. So maybe he followed his coach's footsteps when he "asked God to be his friend" (he said something like that)
