If the board link wejo provided is right, then "eating pussy" isn't wrong...or at least wrong enough to get kicked out of BYU.

It is a simple case.
1. Did Davies know the rule?
2. Did he break the rule?
CASE CLOSED.
Crying about stupid rules is meaningless. It does not matter if the rule is stupid or who else has broken the rule.

I am Mormon and my wife went to BYU. Love her and her family, certainly no problems there. They're all very cool. I lived in Provo for a year and found BYU very problematic, which isn't really worth getting into.
To be fair, we haven't been to church since the Prop 8 stuff started. I'm not a model Mormon.
Do you drink coffee or tea? That's supposed to be a sin, per Mormon standards.

It is safe to assume LRC must be off-limits to the entire student body at BYU
Have any of you had the pleasure of meeting guys like Josh McAdams, Josh Rohatinsky, Ed Eyestone, Kyle Perry, Miles Batty,...
They are not people who are or seem oppressed by their religion. They choose to live the lives they do and are happy as a result of it. These guys are more like the example of a typical student at BYU (not in running ability, but in how they like to live their lives). Being committed to standards that they choose to live helped make them the wonderful people they are.
I'm sorry but I thought Freedom of Religion was in the Constitution. Maybe I am wrong. I am not Mormon either, but it is their (Private) school and they get to make the rules at a Private School!!!!
ever notice how a lot of cults come out of that area and belief system? 7th day adventists are a run off of the mormons I believe. can you say david koresh.
A black basketball player in a school of white girls.... what do you expect? they were asking for it.
Di - you might as well become a Mormon since you already don't believe in evolution and your fat ass certainly isn't getting laid.
Don't think drinking coffee or tea is a "sin" - even hardcore Mormons rightly find a fair amount of wiggle room there (sodas, chocolate, etc). I drink tea every now and again but caffeine will make me bounce off the walls, so I avoid it.
All the self-righteousness here is killing me. You are all so quick to bash Mormons yet fail to look at the rules of other religious and even those of our own government.
Almost every religion in the world says premarital sex and being gay are sins. The US government does not recognize gay marriage. It's also illegal for me, as an 18-year-old, to do anything sexual with my 17-year-old girlfriend.
Get a life and leave the Mormons alone. There are crazy people in every religion/party/organization. Most Mormons are just trying to live a good life and help others.

HMMM this guy again. I'm not gonna argue about that anymore considering you couldn't provide any proof. What I will say is that I'm hardly fat. Try contributing to a conversation insted of picking fights.
The fact that mormons think Coke is OK but drinking Green Tea is sinful is enough to convince me of the utter insanity of their beliefs.
In one way, its really good to see the first example of "integrity" in a Division I Athletic Dept, regardless of that integrity is based on insanity.
HOWEVER, to totally sabotage a dream season for the other members of the team, over an offense committed by many other mormon students there every weekend is a sin.

Riiight...and that 50 lbs you put on (that you mentioned in another tread) is all muscle. Sure.

That's the funny thing--the code of conduct expected by Mormom culture is actually relatively healthy.
No one thinks it is a good idea to smoke. Premarital sex has obvious health issues. I personally wish that I weren't addicted to caffeine.
Yeah-- the underwear and hair things are pretty weird, but compare that to the code of conduct in the mainstream US where binge drinking is encouraged and the divorce rate is high because Americans don't want their parents choosing their spouses for them, like in India. In Italy and Germany-- where whole cultures are dieing out because they aren't having enough kids.
BYU and Mormon culture is a shining good example by comparison.
Back in the day, we had a couple of transfers from BYU.
I am pretty sure their system of rules was a big reason they transfered.
They were both from Africa and happy to get scolarships in America. But then they had to get out of Utah.

You can come find out if you want. easy to talk Sh*t over a message board hu?
Oh no, Fatty is pissed, I better be careful!
What is rediculous is that you can't post about a topic and try and follow me around. you always have to be concerned with me. it's pathetic like a school girl crush. NO i am not gay so you don't have a chance. please post on the topic not me.
Now back to the topic. It is rediculous that he was kicked out for that but like another commentor said, we have freedom of religion and it's a private school. He most likely knew the rules and broke them. so that's that. He could have gone to another school.
Oh course you aren't. Even with an overwhelming attraction to males, you still couldn't be because it is not something you are born as, but instead a lifestyle choice, a wrong choice.
Back to the topic, he was really kicked out for disrupting class by asking why apes don't speak English.
