Yeah.. so I did what you said and it matched up with what he said he did. I don't see your point.

mileage like this is the only way to make big jumps, i f***ing hate it when posters say you'll end up getting a stress fracture or burnout, africans do this shit without even thinking about it and are way better overall, how can you put a number on what someone can or can't handle? Geb makes claims of doing 160mpw, tergat same, and other greats have well surpassed that. So you haters need to quit doing your pussy mileage and grow a pair to make mileage jumps like this for maximal improvement. Mileage is the only thing that carries on from year to year causing greater aerobic strength as they add up = better performances
White boys like you, are love to talk shite. You are the only pussy on here ass white.

I suggest that every person reading this thread join running2win.com and see how Ian Edwards' running log stacks up to how he portrays it here, it's laughable.
It's exactly the same as how he portrays it. And look at his teammates "barefootcougar" log too.
I think my teammate just posted that. ^
And about the "i think i have a stress fracture in my knee" status update. I'm not a doctor, and my knee hurt really bad for a few days so I randomly said it. It still hurts but not as much since I started putting flexall on it before every run.
bloody hell Ian. I was silently rooting for you. You had to go and mess your knee up.
Don't give up hope! lol I still did a track workout on it yesterday. It just hurts. It's not injured.

In the past 12+ weeks Ian has run a total of 4 weeks in the 120-140 range. You don't get that vibe from reading this, nor do you see the strain training until injury result of his stupidity until you go and read the log. However, his teammate is holding up surprisingly well.
Ian, what is the point of logging the 1 mile runs and stuff like that?
I said my average is 101 per week. I failed the goal of 120-140 per week because my hamstring was/is messed up. This week should be another 140 mile week. My teammate is doing GREAT. I expect HUGE prs from him. His pr from last track season is only 15:56 or something like that. Also we have 2 more guys on the team getting big miles in right now "madcougarlover" on running2win. (This is his first big week) and "graduatecougar" who runs 20 a day and takes 1 or 2 days off per week.
About logging 1 mile runs. If I run a mile, I log it. Simple. Theres specific reason I did that/those 1 mile runs, however.
looking forward to 3k results tomorrow:)
I was planning on taking the 3k easy and going hard in the 1600 leg of the dmr later in the meet.
But since you called me out, I'll go all out in the 3k and be dead for the 1600 which no one will be able to see the results for.lol. Oh yea, and the competion for this meet is basically only our teammates.
Hey you finished just ahead of Harding's Taylor Lively, he has cystic fibrosis.
I take it back. Our coach doesn't want us to kill ourselves at this meet. He stressed pretending this meet is a prelim to an imaginary finals the next day. So... don't expect anything from me because I'm only going as fast as I have to.
guess all those miles were for nothing then, darn it all
Important races aren't until later in the season.
LOLOLRFLCPTR
Ian, once you get back from your cross-GA run, you'll be WAY faster for the important races!!!!!!
So what happened???!!!!!!
