First of all, brah, you might be the only liquor store in the country that does this, if you even do it.

A store "pressing" charges means nothing, NOTHING. If the local prosecutor doesn't want to crack down on fakes, then nothing else matters. Not if it's technically a felony or misdemeanor. And I doubt, with every fiber of my being, that a local police force makes kids spend a night in jail for a fake, nor would use of a fake ID have implications for someone's driving record unless they were using it while driving. It would be interesting for a public official, elected or appointed, to explain to parents why kids were jailed for normal shenanigans.

So, without outright calling you a liar, I'm guessing you live in some D county rural town, whose police force literally has nothing else to do. Or you are a liar, because I've never met a runner or college student who works at a liquor store.
