Or just maybe, Kara was clothed as to not break this image of her that Nike has been trying to create of her with the runners world crowd. It would have been funny, and I think hot cuz I'm a dude, but its not the image nike wants to build for that athlete, who is as of late becoming the face of their running marketing.

There aren't many US distance runners that the public would know. Joan B-S and Webb are about it.
They (average Joe runners) know who Kara is more than they do Lauren, Nick, or even Adam anymore. Look at any of the jogger forums like Runners World or Running times, they're all abuzz about Kara and Ryan. Those idiot slugs wouldn't know Merga or any Cheriyuot if he blasted by them on their interval workout while doing a cooldown, but they're all geeked on Kara for sure, as well as Ryan. That level of hype doesn't just create itself. Kara and her handlers have done an outstanding job of promoting her and building her image in a public way, even if she and Saladbar are making crackhead statements. Adam has a "good sense of humor" because at this point he doesn't have the performances that he can afford not to. If you can't run fast enough then you'll have to be a clown for Nike. Or get a real job.
The Goucher scene was supposed to be after they got back from camp. She said something like "it takes Adam longer to adjust," meaning back home, not at camp. They were only naked at camp, but Adam is still naked while Kara is clothed because camp is over. Get it now?
