3342miles
PRs indoor 3000m (8:57)
400m (51.8r)
failure of a year - most mileage ever.
~3500. Set PR's in 800, 1500, 3k, 5k, 10k, 15k, and half marathon.
Looking to continue this PR'ing.
3100, i need to run more..
2,320 in 2008. Third year in a row over 2,000.
2008=712 miles, shamefully low. Down from 1400 in 07 and 1600 in 06.
Supplanted that with substantial(though unlogged)biking and X-C skiing.
Total includes 4 marathons, 2 half marathons and a host of trail races. Off the top of my head I would guess 1/3 the mileage total was a the races.
Still finished the year with a shelf full of bling and no injuries.

Is there anyone else who does not keep track of mileage? I haven't kept a log since college. Enough other things in life to obsess about.
That's great you don't keep a log, thanks for sharing, but it actually isn't "obsessing" for me, just something I do to aid in my training. I actually don't think "obsessing" over anything is healty.
920 - I always wish it was more. But at 47 I am thankful for that in my busy world. Missed 72 days. Ran in two races both 5k. Back of the pack just out there for the enjoyment. More than 2007, but a lot less than 2006.
1436. First 3 months ruined by bad back, December hampered by bum hamstring.
2199.5 miles which is about 150 miles more than the previous year.
2008 Totals:
3,781 miles
Marathon PR
1/2 Marathon PR
10k PR
8k PR

2283, which was more than twice what I did in 07
Log on running2win.com
just shy of 2900, with probably 25-30 days off total
next year will be a bit more.
In my mid 40's and have been fighting calf injuries for four years. I got 500 miles in on the nose this year. But I think I have finally found the change I need to keep more consistent this year. Looking forward to being back over 2000 miles in 2009.

Yeah, I don't think it's obsessing to open up a Microsoft Excel spreadsheet and insert the number of miles I ran for a day and then close the spreadsheet.
2944
i've never added them up before. i kind of feel like i just wasted 5 minutes... anyway, best wishes in '09! :)
