DIII Cross Country 2007

Perhaps its due in part to them really sucking the big one at nationals last year

Teen Wolf...are you kidding me. LaX did f*** up at nationals, but look at their conference and regional results...two 1sts. Also, look at their track results. Four guys provo indoors and 2 in the 10k. Please, some respect

Haverford is picking up a very nice recruit in Southwick from NJ, he's a 16:05 guy at Holmdel I believe, should be good for a solid placing DIII with some work.

A little inconsistent, he may show some huge upside under talented Haveford coaching. On the other hand, he supposedly was doing 100mi weeks last two summers, so maybe no quick jump with college regimen.

Why would you say that? Nice kid, doesn't even post on dyestat far as I know, definitely wouldn't be on letsrun posting about himself. I'm just an old fart with an interest in NJ XC, one of my kids was pretty good a few years ago & I still follow.

La Crosse is also adding 2 runners who should make their varsity. One is a transfer who almost made nationals in the Central Region last year and has run about 15:30 in the 5k. The other finished third in the WI state 3200 in 9:15 and is more competitive as distance increases so he should do really well at the 8k.

Heck, it sounds to me that LaCrosse is hands down the Champ for the next 15 years then, it's a perpetual race for 2nd...starting now!

Except LaCrosse sucks.

not if it's on an XC course. not that I know for sure that's where the time came from.

NYU is the team to beat, Calvin is defending champs and they have that, but NYU returns their top 8 if not more. I think there will also be a resurgence from New England, as a number of teams have strong recruiting classes, and return a vast majority of their squads for the 2007 season.

1-8: teams that dont waste their times talking about how awesome their teams are on message boards

9-last: Teams that pump themselves up too much on letsrun and make their teams look arrogant

Why do people type like that? Are you in 6th grade? I would say that between the Cortland, Geneseo, LAX (and WIAC in general) and NYU guys posting on this forum alone, you don't have much of a case here.
