The photo finish at Golden Leagues is done by an independent timing company. They are not from the IAAF. In fact they don't actually know anything about athletics. They just know how to read a photofinish picture. It's not such a big deal. It was a mixup. Probably some people lost their number or went over the line together.
That's true. The Golden League hires completely unqualified and inexperienced rank amateurs to time their athletic events. All of the officials are amateurs too. No one involved in Golden League events has a clue what they are doing. The only people in the world who know how to time athletic events and read finish photos are anonymous adolescents who post on internet message boards. That all makes sense to me.
Yeah I saw that when I realized you posted two minutes before me. Thanks for making sure I realized it though.

Ah well. Cragg will run sub-13 one day for sure and I stil tip to medal at the European Champs
Cragg may be nice guy and all that but he's still just another John McDonnell coached Arkansas athlete who doesn't do crap two years out of college because he got the hell run out of him at AU.
Sorry, guys. Face facts.
Dan Lincoln?

You may have the one exception. Is he two years out yet? Can't remember.
I didn't say they were unqualified. I said they are not athletics people as such (e.g. they wouldn't know the difference between Alistair Cragg and Alan Webb). They are from a time keeping company who supplies time keeping equipment to all sorts of sports. They are very well qualified but they are not necessarily into athletics.
