Corona virus vaccines don't last that long and they promote enhanced disease responses that end up being unhealthy. This is not new. Believing that mRNA vaxes would somehow work around this without evidence for it was a bit naive.

Why would you want to stabilize the spike protein when it has been proven the spike protein drives cell destruction? You don't want the spike protein spreading around your body and hanging around for a long time.

Like I said. Familiarize yourself with SARS-CoV specific advances that have greatly increased immune response to delivered antigens, prolonging vaccine efficacy and limiting ADE (of which this vaccine shows ZERO evidence).

Why would you want to stabilize the spike protein when it has been proven the spike protein drives cell destruction? You don't want the spike protein spreading around your body and hanging around for a long time.

First of all, there’s no evidence for in Vivo damage from the vaccine. You see no evidence of serious safety problems. Cells in a dish is a bad model for systemic stuff like this.

Secondly, the advances have no been to stabilize the protein half life (which is still quite short) but to stabilize a specific “prefusion” conformation that mirrors infecting viral particles much better. It’s little advances like these that add up to big breakthroughs! I really encourage you to read up on this as it’s clear you aren’t familiar and it’s really cool science :)

There's no evidence from the gigantic phase III trials that the vaccine causes damage such as those papers listed (all in cell models or small mammals). Considering the proteins half a half life of a few days in humans, the trials would have caught any damage! Sorry, your evidence is trumped by the, you know, large RCTs of the vaccine that showed it was safe.

Besides... if you are worried about the spike protein, you should be REALLY worried about the virus that causes weeks of spike protein expression all over the body as opposed to almost all at the injection site. (Even in the testicles! Woah! Harambe doesn't like that!)

Anyway, I hope you look into all the breakthroughs we have that have made the vaccine work so well. It's exciting stuff! Your pessimism is "uncool."

I don't agree with Israels decisions to push boosters so hard. It makes sense for vulnerable people to have the most sterilizing immunity, but I question the need to give it to the whole population (which they aren't doing yet), in light of the zero waning against severe disease we are seeing.

It's good some country is doing it, as we will get good data on durability of immune responses after 3 doses soon enough. Remember, Hep B requires 3 doses for strong, lasting immunity. We are learning -- if the CDC had told you "3 doses spaced, 3 weeks, then 6 months apart" you'd be totally fine with a 3 dose schedule.

What delineates btw severe disease and moderate disease in your mind. It seems you have chosen an arbitrary measure that you can adjust as the data comes in.

It is well proven that the efficacy o f the mean vaccines wanes over short time periods. I am not sure of your motive to dispute this when the manufacturers themselves make this claim. Are we to trust your genius over reality?

No proof of waning against severe disease. Waning against mild disease is there but expected.

Do you think we should be worried about mild cases and freaking out? Seems kinda counter to your arguments of the last, oh, 18 months
