Is facing competition really the reason Borowsky dropped two divisions? I doubt it. We are all fellow runners, please stop trying to discount great performances.

My bet is that he transfers again at some point. Go to NCC a year or two, train really hard, get good grades, then go back to DI, just to a team he can actually contribute to this time.

Is the OP serious about knocking an 18 year old's decision to transfer? So let me get this straight- it would have been OK if Borowsky had come to D3 straight out of high school but because he transferred from D1, it makes him less respectable and you're going to go as low as talking about a 19 year old's junk? The OP is a great example of whats wrong on this message board, with all this unnecessary hate. There have been plenty of other D3 guys who transferred from D1, the most recent ones that come to mind are Thorson from Eau Claire and Cotton from Williams. Who cares? People transfer for a million reasons, wouldn't be surprised if the kid was homesick either since that happens all the time as well. These aren't professional athletes, these are college kids. Go take your jealous and butt-hurt negativity somewhere else.

The CNU coach was at Williams when their Women won and men were second. Now she moved to CNU and their men were 3rd. Neither of these teams we’re bad before she got there, but it’s seems like she is really helping them put the pieces together and peak when it counts. Congrats Coach Lagasse!

You could say the same thing about the CNU assistant coach. He got to SUNY Cortland in 2007 and their men improved from 6th in 2006 to 3rd in 2007, and then they won in 2008. And their women went from nothing in 2006 to top-10 in 2008. And now he's been at CNU for 3 years and they've improved from not making nationals in 2014 to 3rd this year. Congrats Coach Smith!

We loved Sarah. I’m not at all surprised CNU did so well. She’s a fantastic coach and I expect CNU to repeat their performance in the coming years.

Loras graduates 6 of 7 as well.

They actually only graduate four of 7, but they lose their top 3 and their 5th from Nationals

I like the confidence, but this is simply not true. They lose their 2 and 7 from natties. 5 of 7 returning is still not bad at all and I'm sure they'll be a solid team, but they would definitely need to step up to be top 2.
