No distance runner could ever claim to be athletic with a straight face, so they throw up the decathletes against every other sport in the world. Guess what twerps...decathletes aren't competing in the same sport as you even though both disciplines can be thrown under the track&field umbrella. Decathletes don't need or want you hanging off their jocks. If you can't appreciate excellence in another sport that's fine, just stop embarrassing your own sport by acting like an idiot on a public forum.
You're totally wrong. Distance runners are actually ones of those few athletes that may claim to be athletic. Everyone should improve and develop those abilities that he is naturally good at. Regarding sports and humans, this is mainly endurance, humans are naturally endurance athletes and are quite pathetic in strength abilities compared to other animals. A human trying to be good in crossfit is like a cheetah trying to be good in endurance swimming - just laughable and wasting his potential.
Humans are good in endurance and intelligence which are capabilities that crossfitters lack.
