Didn't realize Edwin Moses was a DIII guy. Yes, he's certainly on the world-class list. Also didn't realize Ryan Bak is a DIII guy. Not only talented but isn't he the guy that created Yurbuds?
Hoping the women's list of elites can continue to grow larger. Pretty sparse as of now.
I am not sure why we have all past over the biggest 'little-school' (Carlisle) star in track and field.

They didn't split into d1/d2/d3 until 1973 I believe. Before that it was college/university. I'm not actually sure which division Wesleyan would have been in back then, because technically they are a university. I dunno if it was simply a size distinction back in the day though.
I haven't seen his name in this thread, but Tim Chichester probably deserves a mention for his performance at Boston last year.

How about we ask about the number of D3 athltetes who not only ran in college but got a quality education and a job that pays more than being a professional runner.
