A quick look at phenoms over many years would indicate that none of them ran away from their high school teams... Ryun with his high school 3:55, Liquori 3:59, Pre 8:41, Craig Virgin approx 8:44 all quite happily ran with their team mates. All of them went to the Olympics.... if Salazar had any integrity he would tell Mary to enjoy her high school years and hope to

Go back to the 60s. Those examples are unconvincing in the 21st century, the only example that is relevant is that Galen Rupp owns a silver medal thanks to Salazar.

This isn't basketball, football softball or a team cohesive sport. I know plenty of high school tennis players who are professionally coached and don't practice with the team because no one can give them competition in practice. No one questions their eligibility and it absolutely should not matter who the outside coach is.

None of her future chief competitors (Kenyans, Wilson and that UK girl) are running for a college, or even a High School for that matter, why should she?
