Are we the message board responsible for this? This is exactly what I suggested back in September. Here is the link and a copy and pasted post. http://www.letsrun.com/forum/flat_read.php?thread=4807445&page=1Wet behind the ears wrote:

Canova would be awesome. Ryan and Sara could move to Kenya and do some missionary work on the side while Ryan trains. That would fit in nicely with their lifestyle.

That actually makes sense.
Actually I thought the same thing after reading the recent running times articles about Canova and his marathon training.
In the articles it talks about a 4 x 6k workout, where out of about 10-15 guys only 1 finished the complete workout. However, they all went home satisfied because they ran the right PACE with the worlds best for at least some of the workout.
This is the mentality that Hall needs. He could train with the best in the world and if he is not able to hang he has a coach to say ok Ryan your done for the day. This would hopefully prevent overtraining but at the same time develop a mentality of staying with the best.
Over a period of time he could just relax and see himself get closer and closer over a few months of workouts.
So I say Ryan should move to Kenya for three months prior to a spring marathon and train with Canova and his training group.
On the business side Asics could do a whole training with the kenyans thing and like the poster said he could do work with his foundation.
