Obviously trying not to go 77362874646383727364 dollars into debt is racist, tea party idiots. Now go do something productive with your time, like us liberals, and push papers.
Some facts: No conservatives gave a rip about the deficit until they weren't in charge. The previous VP, a darling of the right, said "Reagan Proved Deficits Don't Matter".
Tea party organizers started going out of their way, including memos to organizers, etc, to cut down on the number of racist signs at their gatherings. They know that there's a preponderance of racists there, they just don't want it to be so obvious.
The Tea Party Express, one of the leading Tea Party groups is lead by a dedicated bigot. He's been asked not to make statements to the press, but not asked to not bring his money.
The various claims made by Tea Party "members" that they have no organization or leaders is hogwash. The only people people that make that statement are liars or idiots. Without the Tea Party Express or FreedomWorks the Tea Party rallys wouldn't happen, there wouldn't have been protests at town hall meetings, and there wouldn't have been a single Tea Party candidate past the primaries. No Fox News, no rally on the mall. They are lemmings standing in for corporate shills.
When all the "Tea Party" hacks got into office all their first acts (and likely only acts) have been to consolidate power and score political points. No jobs producing bills, no deficit reduction of any substance. Instead they redefine rape, attack unions, and go after programs that don't even add up to a rounding error in the budget.
