Wow. That may just be the funniest response ever. Are you sure you just went there to pick one up for "sport?"

Krauthammer's nothing more than a knee-jerk right-wing pundit. That's how he makes his living, not by producing knowledge or anything else of real value.
....thats exactly what Krugman is becoming.
PK knows he has to play to the cheap seats to make $ from book deals, so have at it w/ populism.
So PK wrote about trade policy and Detroit is a mess now. Did he influence the outcome in any way? Did anything improve because of what he wrote? He happened to be right, which is as much an accident of history as it is of TIMING. He could well be proven wrong 50yrs from now.
He has no credibility as far as setting policy. You don't see him quoted in the same context as Paul Volcker - the man who has managed to 1) pissoff almost everybody in DC in 40yrs and 2) keep getting invited back (my kind of guy!).
Krugman does not participate in this dialogue, desperately wants to, and will not. His envy is palpable....but he has to leave his cushy life in NJ, and suck it up at Brookings or....gasp....AEI...and show that he is interested in ISSUES and not his own popularity.
Look joe, you can say what I said is stupid, but you will see eventually. I am pretty sure Krugman will be proven to be a moron who lacks economic vision.
Anyone watching gold? There's real money and then there is cotton with pretty pictures on it stamped with a number. Which one do you choose to have? Only a fool would stand by and watch the massive bailouts and socialistic policies without taking evasive action to preserve the "value" of your savings. Krugman miserably fails the sound money test and so clearly lacks economic vision. I don't care how many PhD's the guy has and how many pats on the back he gets from the establishments.
Yes
I think Berlino is PK's counterpart.
I think Berlino should come to the White House and give Obama a piggy back ride. Just watch out for those hurdles that are scattered around the track.

Suck on it.
And to finish:
Hayek>Chomsky
Done
A better title for his book would be, "The Emotions of a Liberal."
This thread reminds me how much I dislike Paul Krugman's column
(A good place to start. Peter Schiff's Youtubes are great as well. LewRockwell.com has frequent pieces on Krugman's Fairy Land Economics)
ummmm...ever heard of Greg Mankiw??

People need to sit back and realize that the right and left are run by the same hyper-nepotistic bunch that ran the bolshevik revolution in Russia and then ran Russia into the ground - yet they've perpetrated the myth that they were persecuted in Russia (and everywhere else, as usual) - look up Solzhenitsyn's work on this. He became persona non grata for being honest. Now the children, grandchildren of these hypocritical, genocidal, congenital liars have run the US into the ground. No one who has the ability to think for themselves would trust or believe anything Krugman or his ilk put forth. Krugman and his mentors, backers, intentionally lie and distort. Frauds all.
Oh yawn, more unsubstantiated anti-semitism. Tell me, how does your view of Jews as nefarious world bankers coincide with your belief that they were Bolsheviks? The two do not go together.
