Name the restaurant, name the guy. Otherwise you are as nutty as McNulty.

Seriously? Have you never seen Ben in a bar? Never heard stories?
The guy won too much when he was too young and it went straight to his head. I'm not saying he's guilty, but this may make him think twice before being a jackass in public.
You did not answer the question. It should require a lot less typing than your first response....
No doubt this was the case in the past. Ben is young and catches all the breaks in Pittsburgh because of his immense celebrity. It's all business. He's a huge attraction and probably, like many superstar athletes, has been getting away with this stuff since high school. He is (hopefully) starting to learn that this will cost him.

Really? Ever heard of bobby Lane? How about Joe Namath? What about John Riggins? These guys drank alot in public while playing. They were very famous. They made fools out of themselves when drunk. Did they rape anyone?
Answer: No. And neither did Roethlisberger. ESPN analyst's even said it was someone trying to get money from him. This stuff was said to happen " 2-4 times a month in a typical NFL locker room"
Women hang out waiting for the players wearing mini skirts and agreeing to go up to the player's room.
Duh!

Which members of the Steelers wear miniskirts?
As someone who knew him when he was here at Miami University, I would say that he was polite, well mannered, treated the woman that he dated here with class, and was nothing like what he is described as. Now, would millions of dollars, fame, blah, blah, blah, change him? Certainly could. But I do know that he has been very loyal to his hometown of Findlay, Ohio purchasing new equipment for the police and fire departments, and being a good ambassador for Miami University. Really hope this isn't true.
Who was the guy, a receiver I think, who had his pregnant wife/girlfriend(?) shot while she was driving? I think he's doing serious time, as well he should.
funny how espn makes no mention of this...check their site.
I can absolutely see Ben as a nice kid. Like I said, he was a kid that won too much too early and he was just a kid. The incident I am speaking of happened in 2007 after his super bowl win in only his second season(!). (That's all your getting out of me, nutbag who wants names and places. If you had seen Ben around town you wouldn't be asking.)
I seriously doubt he raped anyone. But he's developed a reputation for being less than polite to the ladies in public.

Wow, that really makes your claim credible. So does posting under so many different names. Who's the nutbag?

Did you read the article? He hasn't been "charged" with anything. No criminal complaint, no criminal investigation, just a 300k fishing expedition by a crazy woman. She's claiming a pretty large conspiracy where people have broken into her house to erase data off her computer that's evidence? Come on, this is almost laughable to even be reported on in the press.
I read the MSNBC article and I am from Reno. The woman's attorney, Mr. Cal Dunlap, is probably the most well-known defense attorney in the Reno area. Mr. Dunlap would not have taken the case if he didn't believe that the woman's story was 10,000% TRUE. He is a former Washoe County District Attorney and is NOT an ambulance chaser.
He's also handling the divorce of Nevada's First Lady, Dawn Gibbons. (Our Governor was cheating on her left, right and center.)
Given the fact that Cal Dunlap is on the woman's side, I would say that this is very serious, and not a "fishing expedition."
Jason,
You can claim all you want about Dunlop's reputation but he is still an attorney who has his own motivation and you are a fool if you ignore:
1) Dunlap will get at least 1/3 of the settlement.
2) The case will get nationwide coverage and put Dunlap in the spotlight.
3) The settlement could easily be 8 figures.
4) Dunlap is an attorney
5) Dunlap will get at least 1/3 of the settlement.
6) Professional athletes will be targets for skanks or idiots who want to be tossed through windows ala Barkely.
7) Dunlap could make a name for himself and sue more professional athletes (see previous - attorney & 1/3)
McNulty is a loon but Dunlap can't help himself. Kind of like you and the young Thai girlies.
excellent points.
