Northeast bias, but Iona every year seems to come out of nowhere to run extremely well, not saying they will win, but with sheridan, weller(346), joe parks(14:11 5k indoor), and with some more foreign talent from germany and ireland along with chris stogs, they will be right back up there, always have found a way...

we have seen that fast track times don't necessarily mean fast at cross country. Last year, New Mexico had some really fast track times, and didn't even make nationals for cross. This year the return:
Chris Barnicle- Sub 29 10K runner
David Bishop- #1 most of last year during cross. 4 flat miler.
Rory Frasier- 13:39 5K
Jacob Kirwa- 14:00 5K and 2nd at regionals.
Lee Emanuel- Could be a breakout cross season after running 30:09 at regionals for cross last season. Also...3:37 speed.
New Mexico also have a 14.20 former state champ in Brock Hagerman returning.
Also throw into the team 2 new recuits including an U23 UK cross country runner (so i hear) and they could well feature high up. However, Franklin has assembled good teams on paper in the past (last year for example) so we'll wait and see.
Yeah, I don't know what the deal is with people placing Iona 9th, 12th, or not even on the map?????? Once conference and regionals come around everyone forgets about them bc of "poor results" and no super fast time. This is why they take scalps at Nationals, they can afford to rest a bit the previous 3 weeks. We will see them in the top 3 once again, make no mistake about that. Worst they'll do is 4th. For it's small size, it is the school that most praises it's running program. Everybody is a fan, Iona running made the school... peace
No one has McCarthy from Providence in their top 10? And I think Bumbalough will be up in the mix for sure. Chelanga will probably win but not easily.

Florida will be top 4 in the team they just got Ciaran o Lianard and David Forrestor an english guy who beat fernandez in the worlds in 2008 and has a better 1500 pb then him too you americans are going to be upset cause this guy is better

If you are intimating that Puskedra will beat Fernandez I would respectfully suggest you look at USA junior champs XC and world XC to get some idea of how this will play out.

Not putting Arkansas and Mead in the top 10; are you guys serious? I say Oregon does not make the 3 and only gets one runner in the top 10 and VA makes the top 10 with no runners in the top 20...remember this post.

I'd love to see the Orange in the mix come Nationals. They've been knocking on the door the past couple of years.
In June, tons of teams have a list like this. In the end it comes down to having everybody healthy and clicking for one or two races in order to get enough at large points (or beat Providence or Iona if you're in the Northeast).
I definitels see Ryan Sheridan from Iona cracking into at least the top 15. That kid is still getting back to where he once was in High School and is an absolute talent.

sheridan won the east regionals in the 5k...and hes a better xc runner...28:56 10k also, hes gonna really mix it up this year and be maybe in the top 10 with an amazing day, kid is turning into that good of a runner.
