Chelanga in front again- Rupp now in their group

I heard Fam got pissed for having to do all the pacework for Solinsky a few weeks ago. I wouldn't be surprised if Forrest and Chelanga will eventually be pissed at Rupp for consistently refusing to lead despite being in the lead pack.

yeah..he should hang back and try and outkick the sub 4 miler Rupp...that would make a lot of sense...especially since rupp raced 18 hours ago and therefore will be feeling fresher than ever!

he does look like he's joggin after closing that gap, which he did rather quickly actually. i think forrest slowed, which is why chelanga surged, but it was too late and rupp was already smelling blood and moving up.

Rupp looks comfortable.. I think Forrest and Chelanga made a gamble and they will likely pay dearly in the end..

If you're running a mile and hit 60 for the first quarter and 70 for the second, at the half you are on 4:30 pace, not 4:20--that is, you project the speed you are running *at that point*.

he just joined the pack and is now a few steps back...seems like a good strategy that has worked in the past...plan is to win, not lead the most laps.

Forrest and Chelanga must have planned this because they've been trading laps steadily, Rupp fell a tiny bit back when Forrest took the lead a few seconds ago, but is back up no problem
