The truly sad part is that you guys put so much stake in what Usain Bolt, someone else, someone totally unrelated to you, whose actions really have no effect on your life, so seriously. At $250K/race, he's a role model whether he likes it or not. As a parent who encourages my kid to watch track, I'm not crazy about it. Is he being hip? Ironic? Irreverant? Stupid?
He can do what he wants, but his price will come down. And I would be more careful what I did if I was in a position where kids were looking up to me (besides just the one at home).
