They did, but that was in the first season when they were really pushing the black and white thing. I suppose Adam and Eve could be Rose and Bernard... black and white. That seems a bit crass, though.

I figure that the alternate reality will mesh with the one we're familiar with at some point.
Juliet seemed to see the alternate reality before she died. She wasn't hallucinating - she was going back and forth, kind of like what happened to Desmond and Faraday. She saw the alternate timeline with her and Sawyer being together at a coffee shop. At some point we'll see that happen in the alternate timeline I think.
I'm not entirely sure Christian wasn't actually Nemesis (the guy that looked like Locke). His actions seemed to lead to getting Jacob killed, which is what he wanted. We know Nemesis took control of Locke's memories and took his form after Locke's body wound up on the island, which is what happened to Christian too.
But it doesn't seem like he takes other people's forms everyday. He said "You have know idea what I had to go through to get here" to Jacob before Ben loses it and stabs him to death. He very well could have been Christian. But a lot of posts are suggesting these two could very well be anybody!!!!!!! I don't really think that is true.
You guys got it all wrong. The dog vincent is very intertwined in the whole story. The dog is the first thing Jack sees in the very first episode. (The dog is Jacob).

The first thing he sees on the island??? or the first thing he sees in the airport???
It is well documented that people who watch the following shows , suffer from social disorders:
Lost, Ghost Whisperer, Smallville, Survivor (any of them), The Greatest Race,, Bachelor, Biggest Loser, Millionaire Matchmaker, One Tree Hill, and Most Daring.
Actually, Jacob and Christian are gay lovers. I predict They will reveal that in the next episode. Watch.
Predictions for tonight? What's going to happen?
I hope Jack and Locke meet up... that might have to be later, though.
When will Vincent make his dramatic comeback? Or Christian, for that matter...
Kate kills Sawyer
Everyone is killed.
The U.S. government mistakingly thought the island was Puerto Rico. It just so happened that the people of America, it's governemnt and every branch of the military were in agreement that the only way to stop these people from breeding like rabbits and invading our land would be to bomb the little spot of dirt they call an island.
Until now, the government resisted in the destruction for the very simple reason that PR is a commonwealth of the U.S.,they currently enjoy using the island for it's tourist revenues and cheap & easy women and the governemnt felt that their might be some type of backlash from the American people.
However, after sliding a simple question in to the 2010 census " would you miss Puerto Rico if the USA destroyed it?" an overwhelming number of U.S. citizens answered "NO", some in capital letters.
Also, suprisingly, the entire country of Mexico was more than willing to assist the U.S. military in the destruction of Puerto Rico. Their explanation was short and simple " those people give latinos a bad name. They are not even latinos. They are half black and half latino. I mean, what the hell is that? We Mexicans take pride in our heritage. We dress respecful. We treat our women with respect. Have you ever seen the way they treat their neighborhoods, their women? Unreal. We will do whatever you want if it means they will no longer be around to give latinos a bad name."
There you have it. All the evidence you need.
sorry to ruin it for you.
WTF is going on this season?
LOST is secretly sending messages to the viewers.
Notice that everyone who watches LOST is the following:
Text, rather than talk.
Ride rather than walk.
TV rather than read.
Computer dating at least once.
Generation has a Large % of obesity
Girls are not as hard to lay as they were just 15 years earlier.
All this suggest that people who watch LOST, are Losers. Short and sweet.
Sorry.

BTW, Claire is now Rousseau.
What I want to know is wtf happened to Walt, are they just writing him out of the script completely? He obviously was an important part of the 1st two seasons, seemed to possess crazy powers, and the others were very interested in him.
Wish the writers wouldn't just leave a character like that hanging.
If you are a woman.
(I refuse to read the whole thread.)
I think a couple of the actors were out of the show for extended periods just because they had other gigs.
I was an ardent fan of the show but started disliking it last year. I've now given up on it completely and ceased watching. It's just a bunch of stuff, like any other stuff. It's NOT brilliant, it's arbitrary in its selection of events.
First of all, go the f*** away nobama.
Anyway, after Tuesday's episode, there is an obvious karma thing going on, where those who kill are killed, those who torture are tortured, and those who save are saved. It seems the smoke monster is in charge of enforcing this karma.
So why did the smoke monster kill the pilot (fat guy from heroes) in the first episode?
Also, I do hope Michael and Walt will come back. However, the actor who plays Walt is now much older, making it a little difficult to put him into the alternate reality. And Michael was kind of pissed that his character was killed, so I don't know if he owes the show any favors. I wouldn't be surprised if they were written out for those reasons, unfortunately.
I'm having trouble remembering what the story behind Jack's sister was. I know in the last episode they eluded to his sister being on the island?

Claire is Jack's half-sister (they share the same father)
