How come 3 of the top 6 finishers or the OSU women were not in the 2007 Big Ten Conference Cross Country program...Did they come up just two weeks ago?

what a name
A proud Comanche, former US Junior World XC team runner, Stanford honors grad and current law school student. What a joke. Remember that name, kid. You might hear it again in Washington, D.C. one day.
Oh, and wasn't Geoffrey the Toys R Us giraffe mascot? What a name.
Lol are you dissing the kid or giving him props?
ok I was being sarcastic. my fun is over

Hassan Mead is improving like you would not believe. This freshman could very well take down Withrow at NCAA championship.
If you look you will see that the gap from Withrow to the rest of the Wisconsin crew was smaller than it was at the Dellinger meat. I think that he ran as hard as he needed to do to win; remember also that he has a fabulous finishing kick, so if they are together or even if Withrow is modestly back, I would put my money on Withrow.
As I think I said before, however, it was quite a race by Mead. Is he the top frosh this year in terms of performance?
I have a true hatred for wisco but Withrow does have a sick kick. I heard he was behind mead with very little to go. I would have to say though Hassan has had a breakthrough for "True Freshman." I say that because he is actually the true age for a freshman and not 27 like some people lol.
the ohio state women's team does have talent on the team. Sarah Foster was Ohio state champion, Laura Piper was a good HS runner, and there are one or two others who I can't remember. All of their good athletes have had stress fractures within the last year, and are trying to get back to form. Strichter is coming off a serious injury as well but ran.
I would say this is a good example of girls choosing a school because it a "big' time name and not doing their homework when it comes to how the running program matches with them.
GO FORYS! 7th not bad as a frosh.
well I have a Doctorate in results studying so i can help YOU. he lost by 10 seconds. not 5. whammy.
I really thought Michigan was going to pull off an upset.
They have stacks of talent, and arguably more than wisconsin, but they fell hard. I dont know what the deal is. The only surprise to me was seeing Forys race (his first??) and walk down 3 wisco guys in the finish to finish 6th or 7th.
I saw woods getting driven away in a golf cart, with a pretty disgusted look on his face & bandages/ice all over his foot- Im not positive what happened either but that might say something there.
After seeing him out, I think the other UM guys probably just gave up.
