For what it is worth I have read that Geb runs 33 miles at 5:45 pace and that is a mile high. That said he runs about 4:45 pace in races. So he is running long and hard but still not close to race pace.

Actually, 5:45 pace would be pretty easy for Geb. It works out to the equivalent of 7:15 pace for a 2:37 marathoner or about 6:23 pace for a 2:18 guy.
